I was disappointed this morning to see a conservative, whom I consider a respected friend, make a post on his site called "Justin Raimondo is Cool." Justin Raimondo, who runs the anti-American site Antiwar.com, is not cool. Justin Raimondo is an idiot. He is an outspoken 9/11 truther, one of those folks who believe that the Islamic attack on America of September 11, 2001 was "an inside job." He is an outspoken anti-semite who despises Israel, and believes the United States is an incipient fascist state. He is an associate of the American antisemite and Neo-Nazi Bill White. Some of Raimondo's articles have been widely recirculated by the Saudi funded Council on American-Islamic Relations, otherwise known as CAIR.
Justin Raimondo is actually Dennis Raimondo; he changed his first name for unknown reasons. See Raimondo's lengthy rap sheet at "Discover the Networks" here.
Antiwar.com is often linked by leftist sites, including Michael Moore's. Raimondo has made a lot of crazy claims, but none crazier than our war with Japan, in which Raimondo stated that "the wrong side won."
Strangely enough, some so-called conservative sites feature Justin Raimondo as one of their writers and columnists. Pat Buchanan is one of them. Others write for Vdare.com. If one allies himself with such folks, he may as well have the word KOOK tattooed on his forehead in flaming red.
If you are going to represent the conservative movement, do it by avoiding associations with people of dubious character and judgment. Or as my old pappy used to say, "if you lay down with dogs you will come up with fleas." For good or ill, we are judged by the company we keep.
If you wish to be both effective and credible, you cannot be allies with both mainstream conservatism and the lunatic fringe. So make up your mind about whose side you are on, particularly if you count on my support in the future.

There isn't one single correct statement here including the name of the columnist.
Thankfully, most libertarians don't believe in slander suits and you don't have any assets, or any readers as far as one can tell.
Nonsene, Mara. All the statements are true. As for readers, I get about 500 per day (and growing).
Mara is quite right, not only was Justin Raimondo's name mispelled, none of your statements about him are correct.
Justin Raimondo is one of the finest Old Right conservatives in America today, that means that your post is a lie.
The comments that Raimondo is anti-Semitic is yet another lie.
Pat, Justin Raimondo's name is always misspelled, since his real name is Dennis.
Raimondo is a KOOK with a capital K. He is a 9/11 Truther. He believes that Israeli Intelligence had advance knowledge of 9/11. He is pro-Palestinian (Muslim murdering fanatics) and opposed to Israel (a pluralistic democracy) -- so how again is he NOT anti-semitic?
Raimondo is a disgrace to the conservative movement and should refrain from using that term as a self-description.
Justin Raimondo is his name, while you may claim the right to change it, that only makes you the kook here. In fact, I'm getting a whiff of Zionist thug here.
Raimondo proved, that's supplied EVIDENCE, that the Israeli Mossad knew about the planned attacks on 11 September, 2001.
He is not pro-Palestinian, however he is opposed to the illegal Israeli occupation of land belonging to others.
The government of Israel is run by a gang of organized criminals, made up of illegal European immigrants from Germany, Poland, Russia and other countries. They call themselves Zionists. That's well documented as well.
Justin Raimondo is a true Conservative, but all I can see of you is that you're just another Neocon, which is, as most know, a type of liberal straight out of the Trotskyites of the 1930's.
It seems to me that you've a choice to make. Either you're an American and support America; or you're a Pro-Zionist neocon thug.
Which is it?
Justin is really Dennis; he is the one who changed his name. Raimondo supplied no evidence, just a lot of paranoid fantasies. Israel is not occupying anyone's land but their own; you should read some actual history sometime instead of paleocon idiocy (by the way, "paleo" is another word for "bat-shit crazy."
Yes, I am a Zionist and totally pro-Israel. As for neo-con, not exactly, but definitely not one of the kooks called paleocons or paleo-libertarians.
You appear to be an anti-semitic bigot just like your kooky hero, Dennis Raimondo. Now piss off, I will delete any further comments from you.
Dennis Raimondo also has written that Japan should have won the war in the Pacific.
Anon, yes I am aware.
