Many Jews Preparing to Leave France for Israel

Far left Francois Hollande has many ties to anti-Israeli populations, and as a result many Jews are now preparing to leave France for Israel.

Breitbart says:

According to the Jewish Agency for Israel, over 5,000 Jews from throughout France attended a fair in the heart of Paris about immigrating to Israel. The fair was attended by the Chairman of the Jewish Agency, former member of Knesset, Soviet expatriate and dissident Natan Sharansky. “I cannot recall having seen such a massive number of people interested in aliyah [immigration] since the days when lines of people stretched out of the Israeli embassy in Moscow,” said Sharansky. The fair took place the same day as the election that rousted Nicholas Sarkozy, a reliable anti-Iran voice in Europe, from power, replacing him with the far less reliable Francois Hollande, a socialist with heavy ties to anti-Israel populations.
Francistan now is on the verge of becoming both a collectivst, Islamic cesspool.

I am happy I was able to visit France in 2007, while it was still part of Western Civilization.

French"citizens" expressed their enthusiasm after the results with red flags and flags from Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, and "Palestine" (See photo above).

  1. I think the photo nicely encapsulates Leftist enthusiasm for Third World immigration, legal and illegal: Socialist types, like Hollande, figure they can "elect a new people," in Bertolt Brecht's famous trope, who will, in turn, elect them and keep them in power.

Muslims are widely estimated--the French government will not release the actual demographic figures, though they are tallied internally--now to be about 1/10 of France's population, many are French citizens, and they increasingly participate in elections (when they can take a break from burning _des voitures_). Without them, Hollande (who seems to have won by a rather modest if incontestable margin of about 3%) would almost certainly not have prevailed. So far so good for Hollande and his comrades on the French Left, but . . . I think they will find that they are on the back of a tiger, with a different agenda from their own, and getting off it is going to be tricky. Eventually, the tiger will eat them, when it no longer needs them, and impose--or try to impose--its own jihadi aims on the country.

The one bright spot in all this is that Marine Le Pen's Front National may be poised, come the next presidential election cycle (and assuming the Socialists and their electoral allies allow a normal election to take place), actually to win power, after six years of Socialist misrule combined with Islamist arrogance.

If all of this sounds vaguely familiar to Americans, the reason might be that the American political Left has adopted a very similar demographic strategy to that of the French Left, though, of course, substituting Hispanics for Muslims in the analysis. And, as is the case for the French Socialists, American Democrats have gotten themselves on the back of a tiger that is likely to eat them in the end. But, as in the French case, our Left may be overplaying its hand, resulting (hopefully!) in a conservative swing of the political pendulum.

  2. Carlos, yes, the left's support of massive immigration is no doubt designed to do that, to import voters who are more likely to vote for leftists than conservatives.

The left gains power by buying votes, taking the wherewithal of the productive to exchange with the masses for political power.

When a government exists solely by making its citizens enemies of each other, when one can only rise over the downfall of the other, then we have a problem.

  4. I was lucky to visit France in 1979 and 1998. I see the Algerian flag being waved. I predict a summer of Car-B-Ques in the banlieuses.

  5. Hi Kate! Great to hear from you. Kate (who lives in France) says (my translation):

Hello Stogie, this socialist election is a horror. Sad events in France...with the Arab flags, 500 or more cars burned...Decidedly this year of 2012 isn't good...! I know quite well that N. Sarkosy isn't always right, but he wasn't always wrong either. He instituted reforms that were unpopular but necessary, but many French were getting government assistance, especially on the left, and wanted to keep it! I hope that, with the legislative elections in three weeks, to counter the PS who wants to destroy what N. Sarkosy began. M. LePen and the infamous traitor F. Bayroux helped elect Hollande [by diverting votes from Sarkosy] (white votes). It's a shame, they should have thought first of France!! As for immigration, it was already a horror, but now....
