Who's Funding Brett Kimberlin?

Michelle Malkin had a post last month on the funding sources of Brett Kimberlin.  Kimberlin has been out of jail for eleven years now and apparently is raking in the cash through his two non-profit organizaitons, Velvet Revolution and Justice Through Music.  Both are leftwing sites supporting leftist causes and candidates.

Major contributors include George Soros (through his organization, the Tides Foundation); Babara Streisand, vacuous singer and actress, and Teresa Heinz Kerry, moonbat wife of John Kerry, Democrat Senator from Massachusetts.

The question in my mind is this:  if Kimberlin is using funds from these big contributors to carry out malicious prosecution of conservative bloggers, couldn't these funding sources be sued for contributing to Kimberlin's nefarious activities?  No doubt there are some deep pockets there that could provide a lot of moola for electing conservatives.

I see Obama's allegedly brilliant online campaign, apparently running on word recognition programming, has decided to grace your blog with a banner ad for winning a Dinner with Barack.

Richard Fernandez at Belmont Club has a posting with the usual thoughtful comments about this kind of hip-media-savvy advertising. I particularly like comment no. 45 from one "jms":

Barack Obama’s web advertising makes me smile every day, especially when I see Obama for America ads popping up on conservative web sites on articles castigating the President. If I’m feeling particularly warm and fuzzy I’ll click on them and immediately close the window because I know that click-through hits cost them more money. If everyone does their part, we can help burn through Obama’s campaign funds together.

  2. Rick, those ads are somehow "content" synchronized to the posts on the blog. I once blogged about fedoras (hats) and next day had a slurry of hat sides advertising fedoras (I even bought a hat from one of them, proving the ads work).

It grieves me to see Democrat ads on my blog, but like you say, I do earn money at their expense!

  3. the screaming lefties whine about all the Koch brother money and corporations funding rightwingers, but that money is going to campaigns advancing liberty and capitalism.

The left pours their money into tearing it all down. We're on to him now, so he won't be able to pull the crap that he has in the past.

Sunshine is the best disinfectant, and the spores on the left hate disinfectant...
