Thief Steals Picasso From Art Gallery in Broad Daylight (Video), Photographed by Security Cam

In crazy old San Francisco, some young man in a sports coat walked into the Weinstein Gallery and casually removed a Pablo Picasso drawing "Tête de Femme" (Head of a Woman) from the wall where it hung. He then walked out of the gallery with the painting under his arm.

Ah, unfortunately for the thief, a nearby San Franciso restaurant, Lefty O'Doul's, has a security camera running to prevent theft of its "Lefty O'Doul" mannequin outside the restaurant. Their security camera captured an image of the thief as he made his way down the street to catch a taxi cab.

If anyone sees the stolen drawing, please don't pin it to your refrigerator door with one of those little magnets; it isn't a fifth-grader's drawing, but a valuable piece of art that cost $122,000 at auction last spring. Please don't let your fifth-grader color it, either, instead, call the police.

Fortunately, the drawing is labeled as the head of a woman, thus preventing widespread belief that it is actually a plate of spaghetti and meatballs.
