Law Professor Defends the Arizona Immigration Law
Kris Koback, a law professor at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, has written an op-ed piece for the New York Times backing the Arizona immigration law.
Professor Koback takes each of the major criticisms of the new law and soundly rebuts them.

Surf's Up! Mohammed Hangs Ten!
This is the first drawing I ever made of the Prophet Mohammed, back on August 6, 2006. It was in response to a "draw Mohammed" contest put on by Infidel Bloggers Alliance.
In that contest, IBA asked people to draw pics of Mohammed doing everyday things, so I pictured him surfing.

Arizona's Gamble Pays Off: Most Americans Like the New Immigration Law
Well so much for the Democrat plan to paint Arizona as a "racist" state. Polls just in are showing that a majority of Americans like and support the new law.
Upon learning this, the Democrat Party began demanding that all illegal aliens be deported and that the federal immigration laws be strictly enforced. Just kidding.

Illegals Already Leaving Arizona: New Law Works
Illegals in Arizona are already leaving Arizona and the new law has yet to take effect. When laws are actually enforced, they work. Self-deportation is occurring in cactus land.

Statehood for Puerto Rico? What Are the Democrats Up To Now?
Some strange stuff is going down over Puerto Rico. PR is a protectorate of the United States, Hispanic in population, and has voted thrice to maintain its current status. That means it has voted three times NOT to become the 51st state.
My sense of what's going on is this:
My sense of what's going on is this:
- The Democrats, in serious political trouble, are pressing their "Republicans are Racists" meme in order to galvanize their base for the November elections;
- The Dems are misconstruing and misrepresenting Arizona's new immigration law, claiming it is "racist" against Hispanics, thus cementing the Hispanic vote to the Democratic Party;
- The Dems are now maneuvering some kind of vote on Puerto Rico to support this "Republicans are Racists Against Hispanics" propaganda. If Puerto Rico becomes a state, it will almost certainly vote Democratic, giving the Dems a few more members in Congress; and if Republicans vote against statehood, it will give more "evidence" of Republican "racism."
- Any reduction of illegal immigrants in the U.S. will also reduce illegal voters, to the detriment of the Democratic Party. Therefore, any efforts to suppress illegal immigration will be opposed by the Democrats.

God Bless Arizona: More States Should Follow Their Lead
It's disgusting. Liberals, leftists and the moron in the oval office are slamming Arizona this week. Why? Because Arizona voted in a law to enforce the federal law on illegal immigration. Since the feds won't enforce their own law, the state of Arizona decided to do it for them.
Arizona had little choice. The state is overrun with illegals (about 460,000 of them), the result of which is a soaring crime rate (e.g. car theft and drug dealing), and overwhelmed public services (such as schools and hospitals) that are forced to give free services to people who don't pay taxes.
Rush pointed out this morning that the Dems want those illegals for their vote-fraud potential, as the Dems are going to need every vote they can scrounge up come November. Illegal votes will do just as well.
Some California lawmaker has asked Gov. Schwarzenegger to cancel all contracts and contacts with the State of Arizona; meanwhile, a Texas lawmaker has stated that Texas ought to adopt Arizona's new law as its own.
One thing has been very clear to me for years. Democrats will readily destroy America in the long run for the right to rule it in the short run. They are willing to sacrifice the future for the present.

Religion of Peace = Rest in Peace
Another Stogie Photoshop, combining various elements into one picture.
You can see my suggested caption for the picture. If you have other ones, leave them in a comment.
What is the skeletal figure saying? Some suggestions:
"Hot cha-cha!" (well it always worked for Jimmy Durante)
"BURP! That was a great Coke!"
"DEAD? DEAD? I can't be dead, I just got my flu shot!" (ripped that one off from Achmed the Dead Terrorist)
"Do you know the way to San Jose?"
"Head wound? This ain't no head wound, homie, it's a HAT!"
"Me bony? Hey, you can't be too skinny or too rich. One outta two ain't bad."
Supply your own.

The Party of Hate: Angry & Profane Voices - Listen and Learn
The Left likes to portray the Tea Parties as hateful and extremist, but there is no proof of their assertions. Recently, Freedomworks spliced together some voicemails received from liberals. Those liberal comments are included in the YouTube video below. Clearly, it is the Left and the Democrats who are the practitioners of hate.

Harry Reid's Public Spectacle: Oh Harry, How Could You? UGH!
Founder of "Draw Mohammed Day" Chickens Out
Via the Washington Post:
Was Molly Norris threatened with death too? All the more reason to continue with the original plan: On May 20, everyone should draw and post a picture of Mohammed.
Stop the campaign, she wants to get off.
The Seattle artist whose anti-censorship cartoon has helped spawn "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day" says she wants no part of the May 20 event, which is gaining momentum online
"I made a cartoon that went viral but [this campaign] isn't really my thing," cartoonist Molly Norris tells Comic Riffs, characterizing her cartoon as merely a personal response to Comedy Central's censorship of a "South Park" episode last week. "Other folks have taken it over" -- an appropriation she says she is distancing herself from.Read the whole thing.

Stephen Hawking: Don't Contact Aliens, They May Be Bad
Stephen Hawking, the genius and cosmos expert says that extraterrestrials undoubtedly do exist. However, contacting them could prove fatal. Who knows, maybe they will be lizardoids disguised as sexy humans, carrying a book with the title "To Serve Man." Or, they may just be carrying germs that will kill us off because we don't have the right antibodies. It's happened before. The Costanoan Indians of California all died off from diseases carried by early white explorers.
Hawking said this:
At first Zortak didn't want to talk about Hawking's comments, preferring his usual small talk about making crop circles and levitating cattle. However, I persisted. Finally, my patience paid off. Dr. Zortak snorted, asked me to roll over and then told me just what he thought of Stephen Hawking. See picture above.
Dr. Z (as I like to call him) still hasn't told me whether his saucer lab accepts Medicare. Maybe in the next visit.
Hawking said this:
"If aliens ever visit us, the outcome could be much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which didn't turn out very well for the Native Americans."I asked one of the grays about this, the one named Dr. Zortak, who keeps transporting me to his saucer where I am placed naked on a metal table and probed and prodded with strange instruments. I'll be honest, when I first met Zortak I had my suspicions that he wasn't a doctor at all, just another extraterrestrial pervert. After all, the only guys I know who dress in silver tights are from San Francisco. But then he showed me his medical diploma from the University of Uranus and my fears were quieted.

Correcting Some Conservatives on Islam: Ann Althouse and Smitty
Not everyone is crazy about the idea of "Draw Mohammed Day." Alas, there are those conservatives with a shallow understanding of Islam, who have never read a book on the subject. I've read about 14, including the Qur'an, so let me set these folks straight.
Ann Althouse said:
We DO care about "what other folks hold sacred." Especially when what they hold sacred is oppression, murder and terror. We care about it enough to OPPOSE it, because it erodes our personal freedoms and encourages fanatics to continue their threats of violence.
Muslims also hold the veil to be sacred, but I'll just bet Ann Althouse won't be shopping for a hijab anytime soon. (You're so insensitive, Ann.) Nor will she stop eating bacon for breakfast, nor will she get rid of her pet dog, nor stop listening to music, all of which "offend" Muslim sensibilities.
In any case, Ann, your argument is based on a false analogy. No one is threatened with death for portraying a picture of Christ. No one is threatened with death for dunking a crucifix in a jar of urine. Muslims, on the other hand, go ballistic over any depiction of Mohammed, even those that are respectful. It seems Muslims have many hair-triggers, all of which are easily detonated, often resulting in violence. They need a reality check to desensitize their more disagreeable practices. The "Draw Mohammed Day" is designed to do that, to punish bad behavior rather than accede to it.
Since Muslims hold murder to be "sacred," I do not intend to tread lightly around their sensibilities. In my view, I am far more justified in being "offended" by Muslim practices and beliefs than they are justified in being "offended" by mine. I too have my triggers, but none of them is wired to a bomb.
Further, Muslims are sensitive about their "prophet," one of the most evil men who ever lived. He was a terrorist, a thief, a mass murderer, a pedophile a rapist and a liar. The "religion" he started has killed around 280 million people since its inception. It killed 3,000 people on 9/11 and adds to its grisly toll daily. Islam murders people for being gay, for changing their religion, for refusing to convert. It stones women to death for sex, genitally mutilates young girls, practices "honor" killings against children (mostly daughters) for acting "too western," for falling in love, or for refusing to marry the schmuck the family has chosen for them.
For Muslims, even those who live here in America, murder is often an acceptable practice. There have been a number of honor killings carried out against daughters, and one Muslim beheaded his wife for seeking a divorce. Recently I read on Red State how a Muslim grandmother smothered her 2 year old granddaughter to death, after learning the child was born out of wedlock. Oh yes, let's be polite to Islam, a religion that turns human beings into monsters!
Islam is an evil ideology that obliterates freedom, murders great masses of innocent people in the name of God, and oppresses those who are forced to live under it. I am deeply offended by the beliefs and practices of Islam every day and so I really DON'T CARE if my depictions of Mohammed offend any Muslims.
Second rebuttal coming up, this one for Smitty of The Other McCain. Smitty writes in a comment at American Power:
In any case, you are incorrect. It isn't merely "political correctness," a form of self-censorship based on fear of social ostracism, that is in play here. It is MURDER and COWARDICE. Muslim murder, which is a daily occurrence, and western cowardice in failing to oppose it within our own borders. Perhaps I should also add Western IGNORANCE, a failure to understand the history, beliefs, goals and practices of Islam. No offense, Smitty, but I think you may fall into this latter category.
I oppose Islam for the same reasons that Geert Wilders and Laurence Auster oppose it, because it is incompatible with western democracy and pluralism. It is a time bomb that will eventually destroy our way of life. Your great grandaughter, Smitty, probably has a veil in her future.
SATIRE is an appropriate and effective response to Muslim extremism. Yid With Lid recently had an article on that very subject. Muslims welcome death, so do not fear guns and bombs. But they have no way of dealing with satire and they greatly fear it. It is a potent weapon against Islamic tyranny and I intend to use it, "cheese-whiz" or not.
Ann Althouse said:
I don't like the in-your-face message that we don't care about what other people hold sacred. Back in the days of the "Piss Christ" controversy, I wouldn't have supported an "Everybody Dunk a Crucifix in a Jar of Urine Day" to protest censorship. Dunking a crucifix in a jar of urine is something I have a perfect right to do, but it would gratuitously hurt many Christian bystanders to the controversy. I think opposing violence (and censorship) can be done in much better ways. Here's why you're wrong, Ann.

The Prophet Mohammed Goes Bowling! A Great Way to Relax After Jihad
One more, then it's outside for a pipe and a cup of coffee.
Note: The "Everyone Draw Obama Day" is really catching on. Even Memeorandum has picked up the story here and here. Ann Althouse, professional party pooper, disagrees.

Chicken Comedy Central: Reached for Comment, All They Could Say Was "CLUCK CLUCK, CLUCK!"
I created this graphic for cowardly Comedy Central the last time they censored a cartoon with Mohammed in it.
At that time I wasn't sure the censorship was real or just a comedic publicity stunt. This time, however, it is definitely real.
So I am resurrecting the Chicken Central logo and publishing it here. Feel free to reuse it on your site if you so wish.

Another in the "Draw Mohammed" Series
Let's all picture the Prophet Mohammed as he might have appeared in various historical or literary roles. I'm thinking of depicting him as a fry cook, a football player, Washington crossing the Delaware, WHATEVER.
Here he is as the famous French fictional character, Cyrano de Bergerac.

Everybody Draw Mohammed Day
Via the Left Coast Rebel, someone has declared May 20, 2010 the first annual "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day." This exercise will be in support of Trey Parker and Matt Stone of "South Park," who have been threatened with death for depicting the "Prophet" Mohammed on their cartoon show.
When we are all targets of Muslim murder, then they will at least have to buy more bombs and ammunition. No doubt that will be a big inconvenience to them.
Count me in! However, I think I will draw a new cartoon of Mohammed EVERY DAY until May 20.
I'm late for a party, so I will have to knock one off quickly and not so well. Here it is:

I found this South Park depiction of the Prophet Muhammad. Well NO WONDER the jihadis are all in a lather! This depiction of the Muslim prophet is truly outrageous and disgusting! Have these people NO SHAME?
Please write to South Park and let them know we are OUTRAGED at this SACRILEGIOUS depiction of Cartman as Muhammad! Cartman WOULD NEVER dress so gay!
Islam, the religion of MUHAMMAD -- performing mass murder for 1400 years. Respect it. Or else.

I discovered a great blog of Jewish Republicans today. It is "Vocal Minority," and they currently have an excellent post on the Democrat origins of the economic meltdown, as explained by Mark Levin.
This is a must read for those who want to understand why we are in this terrible recession, and why it was government interference, not "unfettered capitalism," that got us there.

Timothy McVeigh's True Motivations
Rachel Maddow of MSNBC is presenting "The McVeigh Tapes." Today marks 15 years since Timothy McVeigh blew up the federal building in Oklahoma City, killing 168 people. McVeigh was an extremist, certainly, who seems to have been been influenced by a neo-Nazi novel, The Turner Diaries, in which the protagonists blow up a federal building and start a revolution against an oppressive government.
Today the Left wants desperately that you believe McVeigh and others like him are motivated by "right wing rhetoric," that Tea Parties are filled with potential McVeighs, preaching hatred and racism. Rachel Maddow has stated,"Nine years after his execution, we are left worrying that Timothy McVeigh's voice from the grave echoes in a new rising tide of American anti-government extremism."
Maddow is a particularly ruthless propagandist for the far left. What "rising tide of anti-government extremism"? There is none. Maddow and her ilk want to convince the public that Tea Party peaceful protestors of Obama's radical policies are the moral equivalent of Timothy McVeigh. Earlier this week former President Bill Clinton tried to draw the same parallel, warning against the effects that rhetoric could have in producing another McVeigh. But what rhetoric was he referring to? He gave no examples, probably because he had none to give.
Timothy McVeigh was not motivated by right wing rhetoric but by left wing governmental actions against civilians. He was especially radicalized by the Clinton Administration's handling of the Waco Branch Davidian assault, in which tanks were used against civilians (over 70 people died), and the FBI assault on Ruby Ridge where innocent civilians again died from federal bullets.
McVeigh explained:

He was especially radicalized by the Clinton Administration's handling of the Waco Branch Davidian assault, in which tanks were used against civilians (over 70 people died), and the FBI assault on Ruby Ridge where innocent civilians again died from federal bullets.
McVeigh explained:
At Waco, once the FBI blocked the Davidians' abilities to communicate with the outside world, Bob Ricks [an FBI official at Waco] could then step forward and mold the facts to fit the FBI's purposes. The public never saw the Davidians' home video of their cute babies, adorable children, loving mothers, or protective fathers. Nor did they see pictures of the charred remains of children's bodies. Therefore, they didn't care when these families died a slow, torturous death at the hands of the FBI. They didn't care when boastful FBI agents posed for the cameras as people's lives were consumed in flames.Waco was a Democrat disaster and many Americans were outraged at the operation. That, of course, does not justify McVeigh's monstrous crime in the murder of more innocent civilians. However, the main point is clear: McVeigh was inspired by the actions of a reckless liberal government, not by conservative rhetoric.

A Secession Option for Liberty Loving Americans: an Essay by Walter Williams
Walter Williams has written a sobering piece on the question of secession. His thoughts closely mirror my own. His major points are summarized below.
The Federal government has greatly expanded its scope beyond the authorized powers granted to it by the Constitution
The Federal government has greatly expanded its scope beyond the authorized powers granted to it by the Constitution
Article I, Section 8 of our Constitution lists the activities for which Congress is authorized to tax and spend. Nowhere on that list is authority for Congress to tax and spend for prescription drugs, Social Security, public education, farm subsidies, bank and business bailouts, food stamps and other activities that represent roughly two-thirds of the federal budget. Neither is there authority for congressional mandates to the states and people about how they may use their land, the speed at which they can drive, whether a library has wheelchair ramps and the gallons of water used per toilet flush.
The list of congressional violations of both the letter and spirit of the Constitution is virtually without end. Our derelict Supreme Court has given Congress sanction to do anything upon which it can muster a majority vote. The statists have no intention of reversing course
Just as in a marriage where vows are broken, our human-rights protections guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution have been grossly violated by a government instituted to protect them. Democratic-controlled Washington is simply an escalation of a process that has been in full stride for at least two decades. There is no evidence that Americans who are responsible for and support constitutional abrogation have any intention of mending their ways.Secession appears increasingly likely
I believe we are nearing a point where there are enough irreconcilable differences between those Americans who want to control other Americans and those Americans who want to be left alone that separation is the only peaceable alternative.Read his article here.

Photoshop Trick of the Day: How to Make a Flag Wave in the Breeze
Today I wanted to make a Colonial flag waving in the breeze. However, I could only find a flat flag (see below).
I figured out how to give it a "waving in the breeze" look using the Filter command in Photoshop. Use a really large brush: choose a round, solid brush, then hit the ] key until it is plenty big. If it's too big, hit the [ key to reduce the size. Now open the Filter tab, then the Liquify tab. Choose the top icon, the Forward Warp tool. Starting with the edges of the flag, just nudge the edges until they look right. The result is a waving flag (see bottom image).
I added a flag pole and put in a sky blue background. Pretty cool hey?

God Bless Black Conservatives: Refuting the "Racist" Tea Party Meme
I love black conservatives. It takes real guts to stand up to the race-baiting "progressive" Democrats and to speak the truth. Falsely accusing the Tea Parties of "racism" and "extremism" is totally false, so much so that it is laughable. But lying like hell is all the Dems have got, as they face a historic ass-drubbing in November.

Carol's Coup at YouTube
Carol of No Sheeples Here once again shows flashes of genius in blogging. Some months back she taught herself to make YouTube videos and made a few videos. Yesterday, however, she had a blogger coup in the release of "We'll Never Say Thank You" to the horse's ass now masquerading as our president. Obama had the audacity to suggest that Tea Party attendees should thank him rather than protest his policies. Carol's video shows dramatically how lethal Obama's policies really are. The only way we could ever thank the radical is if he voluntarily resigned the presidency.
Both Breitbart and Memeorandum picked up the video, giving it wide exposure in the blogosphere. Congratulations, Carol.
View her video at the link provided above.

"I Could Smell the Freedom..."
I had lunch with a fellow CPA today, a naturalized American citizen from India. We went to an Indian restaurant in Sunnyvale that specializes in very spicy dishes, which I love.
While we were chowing down, my friend (whom I'll call Amrik) told me that before he came to the USA, he had worked for a Big 4 CPA firm in the Muslim country of Dubai. Dubai is rather tame by Muslim standards, but it is repressive compared to the West. You can get arrested for kissing your wife in public there. You can't speak your mind and you can't practice your religion -- Amrik is a self-described "born again" Christian. After a couple of years there, Amrik obtained a visa to visit the United States. His plane landed in Chicago and for the first time in his life, he sat foot on American soil.
His reaction to the event was something I will never forget, as it is a powerful testimony for America.
"I could literally smell the freedom," he said.

Tea Party in Heart of Silicon Valley: San Jose, California
I attended my first Tea Party so I am now officially a Tea Partier. I almost didn't go -- at the end of a workday, April 15 to boot, I was feeling tired. On an impulse, I passed my turnoff towards home and proceeded downtown. The traffic was horrible and it took me an hour to drive ten miles, but when I got there, I was glad I came.
I walked across the street to Cesar Chavez Plaza and it was filled with conservatives. I instantly felt at home. I was among friends. The crowd was everything I've been told to expect: smiling, polite, friendly people. There was no litter on the ground and no gross or extremist signs. Looks like the "Crash the Tea Parties" goons didn't show up.
I liked this guy's sign. It was original.
I saw this doll sitting quietly and alone with her sign. I went over to her and said, "A pretty lady with a sign!" She flashed me a smile and said thank you. HUMMMM! No dear, THANK YOU!
This couple expressed my sentiments exactly.
Here's Lady Liberty and she never looked better. The California sun has really improved her complexion -- the green pallor has lessened considerably. Great smile too. Hubba hubba!
Party like it's 1773! That was the date of the first Tea Party that was held in Boston. It was a masquerade affair. Mohican Indian garb was really big that year.
This group of college kids was the best the Left could come up with for a counter-demonstration. Even they were quiet and respectful, however, limiting themselves to the far periphery of the crowd. A couple of "Truthers" also showed up with their "9/11 Was an Inside Job" sign, but that is just so last year. I didn't bother to run it. The new loonie-left sign this year is "George Bush was a Sasquatch," but you really have to be cutting edge to know that.

TAX DAY TEA PARTY! Attend One Near You!!
A Tea Party is being held today in downtown San Jose, at the Cesar Chavez Plaza, from 4 PM to 7 PM. I may go.
Here's a list of Tea Parties nationwide; consult it to find one near you.
Since a gaggle of leftist goons are planning to "crash" the Tea Parties with inflammatory signs and literature (posing as conservatives who are "racists"), it should be interesting.

About That Strange Malware Warning on Saber Point (MY SITE IS SAFE)
Yesterday, when I attempted to log onto my own site (this one - Saber Point) I got an unexpected surprise. My browser warned me that my site was unsafe and might damage my computer. I thought that was complete B.S. so I clicked on the "log-on anyway" button. Nothing happened, no virus attacks or malware or anything else that was bad.
Being a paranoid right-winger, I immediately suspected Google, a leftwing company, had set up some sort of false warning to keep visitors off my site. I quickly rethought that scenario: why would they? I'm not that important and my blog is not worth their trouble.
Clifton of Another Black Conservative and my French reader Kate both emailed me, telling me they had received the warning too. I quickly deleted any recent attachments or embeds to my blog and the problem disappeared. One of those attachments was the Confederate battle flag, and I suspect that was the source of the malware warning. I replaced it with a different flag.
I have accessed my site with different browsers this morning and the malware warning no longer appears.
Using Google, I researched malware warnings on blogs and found that this has happened to several blogs. The problem is related to html code. Pernicious html code could possibly be inserted in a target blog through hacking, but also by links, embeds or possibly even comments from readers (my commenting system allows links and html code).
Please let me know if you have experienced a similar problem or if you get any malware warnings while logging on to Saber Point. However, I believe my site to be safe.

Wise Words from a Southern Patriot
Regarding the latest dust-up over Virginia's "Confederate History Month," I got really pissed off. I hate it when ignoramuses attack the South. I will always remember the words of a wise man, who wrote:
No Southerner should ever think he will be allowed to defend his homeland and her people without being insulted for it. If you're going to defend the South, you must be prepared to defend it down to the last boll weevil on the scraggliest cotton patch in front of the most decrepit tar-paper shack in Mississippi. Those are the words of Robert Stacy McCain, a true Southern patriot and gentleman. Yes, Stacy, I am resolved to do my duty.
So widespread is anti-Southern prejudice, especially among the intellectual elite, that the man who presumes to defend the South might as well begin by foreswearing any further ambition in life. Assume at the outset that you will be denounced and castigated and exiled to outer darkness, and resolve that this daunting prospect will not deter you from your duty.
Ask yourself this, my Southern friend: Who are these people who insult you, your friends and your family? Why does it give them so much pleasure to insult you? And why do they imagine that you will let the insult pass by unnoticed?
Serious Discussions About Secession
Lawrence Auster at View From the Right is entertaining a serious discussion about secession: how can the red states and the blue states separate into separate countries? You can read it here.
Jefferson Davis, President of the Confederate States, said after the war:
Secession would not be my first choice, but my last. I would rather see the United States returned to the status of a constitutional republic where the limitations of the federal government are clearly defined, understood and respected. The Left, however, is undertaking the greatest power grab in American history, determined to change the U.S. into something very different. A division of the country may prove to be inevitable.
Jefferson Davis, President of the Confederate States, said after the war:
"The principle for which we contend is bound to reassert itself, though it may be at another time and in another form."Davis was referring to constitutional liberty, the sovereignty of the states and the right of secession. His words were prophetic.

Paul of Powerline is WRONG: The Right Proclamation in Virginia
Paul of Powerline is a Lincolnophile, who chooses to believe the false and flattering myths about our most overrated president, one Abraham Lincoln. Okay, so he loves a white supremacist who ended the consent of the governed, greatly increased the power of the federal government and started a war that killed 640,000 Americans and made war on women, children and civilians. (And that was when he wasn't busy killing American Indians.)
Paul now objects to the Governor of Virginia issuing a proclamation to honor Confederate history by making April "Confederate history month." It seems the Governor removed the anti-slavery language from the proclamation that had been tacked on it before. That was absolutely the right thing to do. The war wasn't about ending slavery and the North largely hated blacks; didn't want them in the new territories, not because they opposed slavery but because they opposed the presence of blacks and the additional political clout that might accrue to the South, enabling it to better resist Northern tariffs.
Paul says Confederate soldiers were "honorable" even though they fought for the wrong side. Horseshit, Paul. They fought for the right side, but the right side doesn't always win. And when they lose, they have to endure many decades of slander, myth and outright lies.
It is a shame that liberals (and Northern myth zealots like Paul) have politicized history by rewriting it for the purpose of advancing modern political issues. So Confederate descendants must now apologize for their ancestors at every turn, in order to tacitly approve and confirm the Northern myth, i.e. that the North didn't (illegally and immorally) invade the South for conquest, territory and taxes, but did so because they were morally outraged about slavery, filled with glorious self-righteousness and dedicated to the equality of man, no matter what the price in blood and treasure. Yeah, right.
I'll tell you what I think, Paul. The next time any Northern states want to honor Yankees, they should do so, but only with language that denounces Indian genocide, war crimes against civilians, Northern racism, arson and theft, and imperialism against other states and territories (ask the Hawaiians about the latter).

New Stogie Photoshop at American Power
Yesterday I received an email from my friend Donald Douglas at American Power, requesting a Photoshop of one of his blogosphere opponents, a "libertarian socialist" named James B Webb, who runs a blog called "Brain Rage" (well he's half right, about the rage part). His post on Easter is especially disgusting, so be forewarned.
Webb is proud of his support for Obama (he "was for Obama before it was cool to be for Obama"). His site bears a quote from Sinclair Lewis that says "WHEN FASCISM COMES TO AMERICA IT WILL BE WRAPPED IN THE FLAG AND CARRYING A CROSS."
Apparently, Webb doesn't have much to write about so "Brain Rage" has become a shadow blog of American Power. Webb waits for Donald Douglas to post something, then ridicules both the post and Donald. Personally, I wouldn't bother with Webb, but Donald loves to fight with these people.
The original photograph has disappeared from "Brain Rage," possibly to reduce the impact of my Photoshop. (It always means more if you can compare the original to the Photoshop).
Here's the original photo for your amusement. See the Photoshop at this link

The False Analogy of the New York Times: Tea Party Members vs Weather Underground
American Power has a post regarding a recent article by the New York Times. The article compares the violent, anti-American, pro-Communist Weather Underground of the 1960's with the Tea Party goers of 2010.
There is no comparison and the Times knows it, but this is not news reporting, it is leftwing propaganda. It is part of the ongoing effort of the so-called mainstream news to discredit and defame the Tea Party movement.
The Tea Parties are trying to save America, not destroy it or subvert it to some foreign, totalitarian ideology, as did the Weather Underground. Further, the Tea Parties have shown ZERO tendencies towards violence in their numerous assemblies and protests. They have threatened no one. They have slandered no one -- not minorities or gays. Their only threat, if it can be called one, is to vote the Democrats out in mass, come November.
The Times story is disgusting and dishonest. That's probably one of the reasons they are skating on the thin edge of bankruptcy. May it come soon.

The Face of Jesus Finally Revealed?
This was from an interesting show on the History Channel about the Shroud of Turin. Using computerized, 3-D graphics, the image from the famous "Shroud of Turn" was turned into a 3-D image.
The face at left is said to be an accurate depiction of what the face would have looked like in real life.
If the image on the Shroud of Turn is indeed Jesus, it is obvious that Jesus was a very handsome man.
See the video below for more.

Lying on the Left: the Bogus "N-Word" Episode
Right after Obama got his socialist health bill passed, the Dems sought to divert public attention and outrage away from themselves. They would put the Right on the defensive with one of their famous smear campaigns, fake news stories and pretended outrage.
Here's how they did it: after the bill was signed, they had the Black Caucus Democrats walk through the Tea Party protestors on Capitol Hill, hoping to draw (and record) some racist comments from the crowd. None were forthcoming. As Andrew Breitbart put it:
There were plenty of cameras on the marching BC Democrats that day, and not a single recorded occurrence of the famous "N Word." Those darned Tea Partiers just wouldn't cooperate in their own destruction.
Andrew Breitbart at first offered $10,000 for proof that black legislators were slurred. Then the offered payment was increased to $20,000, then to $100,000. Still no proof of the event was forthcoming. Breitbart says:
Here's how they did it: after the bill was signed, they had the Black Caucus Democrats walk through the Tea Party protestors on Capitol Hill, hoping to draw (and record) some racist comments from the crowd. None were forthcoming. As Andrew Breitbart put it:
The first sign that a plan was in place was the ham-fisted, high-camp posturing of the most controversial members of the Democratic caucus walking through the peaceful but animated “Tea Party” demonstrators on Capitol Hill. There is no reason for these elected officials to walk above ground through the media circus amid their ideological foes. The natural route is the tunnels between the House office buildings and the Capitol. By crafting a highly symbolic walk of the Congressional Black Caucus through the majority white crowd, the Democratic Party was looking to provoke a negative reaction. They didn’t get it. So they made it up.One member of the Black Caucus claimed that the Tea Party had hurled the N Word 15 times. The truth is that it wasn't hurled even once. It was all a big fat lie. Lying, of course, is what the Left does. They have a real problem dealing with reality.

That crowd was a sea of new-media equipment. Not only were tens of thousands people armed with handicams, BlackBerrys and iPods, so also was the mainstream media there, covering every inch of the event. Why did not one mainstream media outlet raise the specter that perhaps a video would exist to prove the events occurred?Democrats -- they lie like hell while stealing your liberty, your prosperity and your children's future. Again, to quote Breitbart:
The Democrats need to kill the Tea Party movement. They need to marginalize and demonize those who would stand up to their hardball, toxic and anti-democratic tactics. Their strategy is to bait and incite the Tea Party and to use whatever they can get to silence the awakening giant.Read all of Andrew Breitbart's article at Big Journalism, here.
Evil, Hate-Mongering Tea Parties Revealed!
This video of sign-carrying, protesting Tea Parties is truly a cause for concern. Oh wait a minute...those aren't Tea Parties! One of the Left's most prominent features, other than the complete vacuity of its beliefs, is its searing hypocrisy -- as the video below attests.

Leftists to Infiltrate, Disrupt and Defame Tea Parties on April 15
On the way to work this morning, I heard Brian Sussman of KSFO radio discuss a leftwing email that is being passed around. In it, the lefty commentator urged his fellow radicals to infiltrate the Tea Parties that are scheduled nationwide on April 15.
The email said that leftwingers should pose as Tea Party members and carry signs with offensive slogans, so they can be photographed by the mainstream media and used to slander the real Tea Partiers. One suggestion was a sign with the slogan, "God Hates Fags." There were a number of other suggestions, but Sussman didn't want to read them on the air.
Left Coast Rebel has a related post today on the same topic. The Rebel says that violent anarchists are planning on infilitrating and sabotaging the Tea Party Protests on April 15th. They want to actively oppose the Tea Parties with counter protests. Violence from the left is a real possibility. Indeed, readers at "Anarchist News" website are talking about "busting heads" and other strong-arm tactics. They can't win a debate so they must resort to threats and intimidation.
The Tea Party leaders are now studying ways to counter the threat. However, one might well pose the question: if the Left's programs and policies are so wonderful, why do they have to resort to fraud and deceit to advance their cause?
