Geert Wilders: a Warning to America

The Brussels Journal has an essay by Geert Wilders today.  Wilders is the Dutch politician who is on trial in Holland for "hate speech" crime, i.e., for telling the truth about the violent and totalitarian nature of Islam.  Specifically, Wilders made the film "Fitna," for which he is being prosecuted.

In the essay, Wilders refers to several other European cases where individuals have been or are being prosecuted for telling the truth about Islam or by voicing a private, negative opinion about this ideology.  Much of Europe now follows "hate speech" laws, where freedom of speech is suspended and the hateful ideology of Islam is allowed to spread unchecked as millions of Muslims pour into Europe as immigrants.  Europe is what the left wants America to become:  a nation bent on national suicide.
