Steve Jobs's Final Words

Mona Simpson, sister of Steve Jobs, described his final words at the point of death:
“Before embarking, he’d looked at his sister Patty, then for a long time at his children, then at his life’s partner, Laurene, and then over their shoulders past them,” she recalled. “Steve’s final words were, Oh wow. Oh wow. Oh wow.”
The question in my mind is:  what did Steve see that prompted these words?

Steve Jobs, On Living Life to the Fullest

Steve Jobs Dies

Steve Jobs passed away yesterday. He had been fighting pancreatic cancer for quite some time and was emaciated from the disease. Jobs was a very productive human being, creating technology that has greatly benefited mankind. His contributions to society are on a par with those of Edison. Thank you, Steve, for all you did and all you gave us.

Hail and farewell.

Steve Jobs Nearing the End of Life?

I heard that Steve Jobs resigned as head of Apple a few days ago.  I assumed it must have been from some corporate shenanigans, but I was wrong.  Steve Jobs suffers from pancreatic cancer and resigned because he could no longer perform his duties.  Pancreatic cancer is almost always a death sentence.  Less than 5% of white men survive five years after diagnosis.

I think we will lose Steve soon.  He has been a great capitalist, a great producer of technological innovation and creator of wealth for many people.
