AS THE WORM TURNS: Obama's Last Destruction In Office

The radical college sophomore pretending to be a president is wrecking as much as possible as his days in office dwindle.  He has recently:
  • Attempted to close oil drilling off the Alaskan coast PERMANENTLY, thus imposing his will on future administrations, and by his hand alone (not subect to any vote);
  • Back-stabbed the nation of Israel by refusing to veto the annual leftist condemnation of Israeli settlements;
  • Sought to bring in many more Syrian (Muslim potential terrorists) "refugees;"
  • Lied about Russian hacking the latest presidential election as a way to "explain" the American people's rejection of his would-be successor and his destructive leftist policies;
  • Imposed sanctions on Russia and expelled 35 Russian diplomats as punishment for nonexistent Russian hacking of the election.
Obama commits near-aggression against Russia merely as a ploy to delegitimize Trump's victory and convince the American people that the election result was not delivered by their votes, but by some black magic committed by Russian spies.

I will be so glad when this leftist POS Barack Obama is removed from the White House.  Three more weeks, and the little traitor will do his best to damage the peace, prosperity and security of the United States while he has the chance.

Ivanka Trump's Art Work Repurposed to Comply With Liberal Artists' Requests (#Photoshop)

Various liberal artists saw photos of their artwork on the walls of Ivanka Trump's home.  These leftist artists then requested that Ivanka remove "their" art from her walls, as they did not wish to be associated with her.  Below are some Photoshops I created to suggest how that artwork might be repurposed, in accordance with the artists' wishes.

Electoral College Votes Monday

The Democrats have been doing their best to persuade members of the Electoral College to vote against Trump.  Electors have been threatened with death, guilt-tripped, and beseeched to betray their trust to the American voter and deny Trump the presidency.  A group of has-been actors have even made a video to plead with electors into doing their radical leftist bidding.

Tomorrow, Monday December 19, the Electors will vote.  They should officially declare Trump the president-elect, and the Democrat war on democracy ended, for the time being at least.

After that, the next anticipated date will be January 20, when we will finally be rid of the Marxist moron who has infested the Oval Office for the past eight, nightmarish years.

Update: Trump's victory is official.  Electoral College came through.

Civil War Anyone?

The New York Times and Barack Obama are still pushing the Russians-Stole-The-Election meme.  Democrats and RINO Republicans like John McCain are calling for an investigation of Russian hacking that delivered the election to Donald Trump and stole it from Hillary Clinton.  Obama has promised to share that information with the members of the electoral college before they vote.

It's obvious that the dirty Dems are attempting a desperate move with this, their latest hoax.  Give the electors an excuse to vote for Hillary instead of the candidate chosen by the voters.  Even if it doesn't work, the fraud will still serve to delegitimize Trump's election.

The Dems operate under the assumption that "politics is war by other means."  Their latest campaign is to steal the election from Trump and award it to Hillary.  They should take care that their nefarious schemes do not segue into a new civil war.

Democrats: The Party of Lies

The Democrats are working overtime to delegitmize Trump's election win.  This past week they have focused on two lies:

1.  "Fake news stories" on social media defamed Hillary and allowed Trump to win;
2.  Russia hacked the election and stole it for Trump.  Even the CIA claims that this is true (the CIA has been a Democrat agency for some time).

The Democrats offer no evidence that either of these memes is true.

Pearl Harbor 75 Year Anniversary

On December 7, I was tending to my wife who was in the hospital for two days and nights, due to heart and blood pressure issues.  So I missed writing anything for the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor.  However, the definitive Peal Harbor post was expertly penned by Curmudgeon of Political Clown  Parade.  You can view her excellent post, "Our Heart Remains Their Cemetery."

For some unknown reason, I cannot link to Political Clown Parade in my sidebar.  Well I can link, but the link always displays a weird error message.  One of these days I must replace the software for this blog with a new and more modern template.

Election Recounts; Ohio State University Shooter Killed

Democrat Chicanery
If you've been listening to Rush Limbaugh, you know that the Democrats are half insane over their loss in the November 8 elections.  The current strategy is to give Trump an aura of illegitimacy, as if he somehow stole the election, possibly with the help of Russian hackers taking over voting machines in the battleground states.  Election officials in the states targeted for a recount (Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan) state that there is no evidence of any hacking or vote fraud that would justify a costly recount.  In fact, Wisconsin officials have denied Jill Stein's request for a manual recount of votes, and she is preparing to sue over that.  Why this obnoxious leftist (Stein) is so adamant about forcing a recount isn't clear.

Other Democrat chicanery is to pressure Trump to adopt the Democrat agenda, at least in part.  This is all in the (false) spirit of "coming together as a nation," "reaching across the aisle," and curing the ill feelings among Americans.  Let's hope Trump isn't fooled (I doubt that he will be).  The Dims try to make the most of every situation, even after their recent historical loss that has reduced their elected numbers significantly.  So their strategy right now is to mitigate their losses in any way possible.

Ohio State Shootings/Stabbings
Some would-be mass murderer has attacked students at Ohio State University today, ramming some with his car, and slashing others with a knife.  He was soon dispatched by a gun-wielding cop, and is now quite dead.  Fortunately, the assailant was the only fatality. Around 10 injured students have been taken to the hospital.

Why would this lunatic try to kill a lot of innocent students who had done nothing to him?  Good question.  My bet is that he was a Muslim trying to collect his 72 virgins.

ELECTION AFTERMATH: Temper Tantrums on the Left

Now that Trump is the president-elect, millennials and other human detritus are throwing temper tantrums.  Fires are being set, windows broken, buildings and monuments vandalized.  People in California want to secede from the Union and establish their own version of Venezuela.  Some of the leftists are calling for Trump's assassination; black thugs are beating up Trump supporters on the street.  Read all the gory details here.

Trump's victory is immensely satisfying to me, but it has an added benefit:  It reveals just how rotten to the core the political left is -- how totalitarian, how vastly ignorant, how intolerant, and how prone to violence and hatred that they really are.

As for California seceding, I believe in the right of secession, like my great grandfather did when he fought for the South.  Secede California; you are as unAmerican as it gets.  No state in the Union is more out of step with the American people than La La Land, where no silly political/gender/sexual fad is beyond the pale.  The state flower is the California Poppy -- it should be the Opium Poppy.  The state bird is the California Quail.  It should be the Cuckoo Bird.  The whole damn state belongs in a strait jacket.  Secede already, rejoin Mexico.  You are a disgrace to human freedom.  And if you refuse to secede, the rest of the country should declare war to make you do it.

The only reason why I have not left California, my home for the past 62 years, is that I am no longer young, and two of my three sons live here, and all of my grandchildren.  However, I may have to reconsider that decision.  I hate this state.

The Erroneous Polls in the 2016 Election

The polls were largely wrong, as most predicted a Hillary win.  Many people warned us not to trust the polls, and not to get discouraged because of them.  The skeptics were right.  Lesson:  the only poll that counts is the actual election.  Never quit, never give up until it is truly over.  Polls are sometimes used to shape an election, not merely to predict its outcome.  I believe that is what happened in 2016.

Using Excel to Track the Vote 2016

Yesterday evening I followed the vote closely and carefully, using an Excel spreadsheet.  I put all the states in a column on the left, then to the right, their electoral votes.  The next two columns to the right were labeled Hillary and Trump.  When a state was called, I would put the electoral vote won in the winner's column.  Here is a portion of that spreadsheet to illustrate:

The black numbers are actual votes, the red numbers were my prediction, based on trends.  In this way I could see the direction of the vote.  Early on, I saw the direction was in Trump's favor, and that his winning it was indeed possible.  Being able to see this in black and white eased my mind considerably, and watching the vote became a lot less fearful and painful.

As the night wore on, all Trump needed was to win Michigan to put him over the top.  However, Pennsylvania closed first, and that put him over.

All the while, I kept up a running conversation with other Trump supporters on FaceBook, as well as checking the electoral maps on both the New York Times and Fox News websites.

The result of this was that I enjoyed the vote, instead of anguishing over it.  It enabled me to see, hours before the end, that Trump was headed for a win.

Thoughts on Election Day 2016

9:23 AM, PST:  Finally, the day is here.  Will Donald Trump win the presidency, or will Hillary Clinton?

My intuition still cannot foresee the eventual winner, as it did in 2008.  If anything, it favors Trump, slightly.  However, that may just be hopeful thinking.

In 2012, I was reasonably sure the American people would sweep the incompetent, radical college sophomore from office, and Romney would replace him.  I was shocked and horrified when Obama was re-elected.  Surely, I thought, the great majority of Americans could see what a disaster Obama had been.  Apparently, they did not.

Updates will be made throughout the day.
*******

Here is a quote many of us can identify with.  We understand much, but are in no position to advance our understanding.  So we watch, with great angst, while the largely uninformed electorate continues eroding our liberties and prosperity.

****

5:40 PM, PST -- Polls are closing in the east.  Per the New York Times electoral map, Trump has a early lead of 60 electoral votes to 40.  At this early time, that doesn't mean much.

6:03 PM, PST -- The Fox Election update page is updating faster than that of the NY Times.  It now shows Trump ahead by 139 - 97 electoral votes.  However, the left coast electoral votes have not yet been counted and they will all go for Hillary.

Waiting for the 2016 Election to Be Over

Today the FBI Director, James Comey, announced that finding another 650,000 government emails on a private laptop did not change his July opinion:  that Hillary Clinton did nothing to warrant an indictment.  Donald Trump immediately claimed that the system is rigged to protect Hillary, and I have no disagreement with that observation.

Right now I am sick of all the hype, October surprises, claims and counterclaims.  I just want this nightmare political  campaign  to be over.

Who will win?  I am prepared for the worst.  Would the Uniparty Establishment ever allow itself to lose?  Somehow, it all seems to be a done deal.  We will be stuck with that grinning, coiffed and pants-suited phony for the next four years.

I voted for Trump on Friday, using my absentee ballot.  Wifey did too.  She dropped off our ballots at the Registrar of Voters.  That's really all any of us can do, and pray that in the end, it will be enough.

CHICAGO CUBS WIN WORLD SERIES AFTER 108 YEAR WAIT

Before this week, the Chicago Cubs professional baseball team last won a World Series in 1908 -- 108 years ago.  Yesterday the long drought ended when the Cubs beat the Cleveland Indians 8-7 in ten innings of the 7th game of the series.  Though sick in bed, I had to watch it.  This was an American historical drama, finally playing out over a century and multiple generations of Americans.

And like any good tale, it involves heroes and legends, handed down from one generation to another.  One of the best involves the Cubs infield of 1908, a deadly trio dealing in double plays.  They were shortstop Joe Tinker, second baseman Johnny Evers, and first baseman Frank Chance.  Their story is immortalized in a 1910 poem written by a frustrated New York reporter, Franklin Pierce Adams, when the Cubs infield completed a double play to defeat the New York Giants.  The poem is titled "Baseball's Sad Lexicon."

Tinker, Evers and Chance,
Cubs Double Play Combo 1902 - 1912
These are the saddest of possible words:
"Tinker to Evers to Chance."
Trio of bear cubs, and fleeter than birds,
Tinker and Evers and Chance.
Ruthlessly pricking our gonfalon bubble,
Making a Giant hit into a double-
Words that are heavy with nothing but trouble:

"Tinker to Evers to Chance."

Tinker, Evers and Chance are still legendary heroes of Cubs fans. Some of the 2016 fans left trinkets and pennants at Ever's grave, in hopes, perhaps, of conjuring blessings and support from beyond the grave for the Cubs 2016 chances

Items Left at Grave of Johnny Evers, Chicago Cubs
1908 2nd Baseman
Baseball!  This game has been the one cultural item that is present in American history for more than a hundred years -- the World Series began in 1903.

A lot has happened since the Cubs won their last World Series championship:  the sinking of the Titanic, World War I and II, television, the moon landings, Mars landings (of robots), heart transplants, personal computers and mobile phones, to name a very few.  So I wondered:  how did people work and live and get around town in 1908?  Well I couldn't find much detail, but I did find some information.  According to the site The Daily Press, here are some facts about 1908:
  • The average life expectancy was 47 years.
  • The average wage in 1908 was 22 cents an hour. The average worker made $200 to $400 a year.
  • There were only 8,000 cars and only 144 miles of paved roads.
  • Only 8 percent of the homes had telephones.
  • Only 14 percent of the homes had bathtubs.
  • Only 6 percent of all Americans had graduated from high school.
  • Two out of every 10 adults couldn't read or write.
  • More than 95 percent of all births took place at home.
But they had professional baseball!

Additional information on the famous infield trio can be seen on Find-A-Grave.  Do look them up! They are linked below.

HILLARY'S OCTOBER SURPRISE (Payback's a Bitch) #MAGA

So it seems the FBI has reopened the Hillary email scandal/case.  Apparently,  the FBI found thousands of more government emails on the laptop of Anthony Weiner, the sexting nerd and former Democrat Congressman who likes to expose himself online.

The FBI was looking into Weiner's emails to find evidence that he was getting on-line randy with a 15 year old girl.  That's when they found the Hillary emails.  It seems Hillary's Muslin assistant, Weiner's wife, had been forwarding government emails from the government server to her own Yahoo email account.  What incredible cyber security!

So now, with the election only ten days away, Hillary has egg on her face.  Once more Hillary is undergoing FBI scrutiny to determine if she broke federal laws, with the possibility that she will be indicted and sent to prison.  Ouch, that's gotta hurt her election chances somewhat.

After Hillary's October surprise against Trump, instigating women of dubious veracity to step forward and claim that Trump groped them, this is satisfying payback.

BWA-HA-HA-HA!  Enjoy the stomach acid, Hillary.  Karma is so cool.

2016 Presidential Election: What's Really Going On?

Rush Limbaugh todays said he didn't really know what's going on with this election.  There are conflicting phenomena that lead to two different conclusions:  Hillary's victory, or Donald's?

Consider the following:
1. There are the polls, some of which show Trump ahead, others that show Hillary ahead.  The RCP poll average puts Hillary ahead by 5 points or more; however, the average is skewed by the ABC poll, which shows Hillary ahead by 10 points, a preposterous number.  Oversampled Democrats, perhaps?

2. Trump's political rallies show large crowds of enthusiastic supporters, where Hillary's show small crowds.  Adrienne at Adrienne's Corner said 50,000 people logged on to see Trump's Gettysburg speech, whereas only 900 logged on to see a same-day rally for Hillary.

3.  Texas is said to be "in play," with Trump leading by only a small amount. This is very hard to believe, since Texans generally hate everything Hillary stands for:  abortion, high taxes, unlimited immigration, etc.  Rigged polls, perhaps?

4.  Wikeleaks continues to reveal dirty tricks and illegalities by the Democrat National Committee on behalf of Hillary.  One of their revelations was a DNC document that recommended using false polls to overstate Hillary's "lead," thereby discouraging and depressing the Trump vote.  The same document also advocated acting as if the election were already won for Hillary, to accomplish the same goal.  [Source:  Gateway Pundit]

5.  Never-Trump RINOs like Jonah Goldberg and his ilk continue to propagandize for Hillary by opining that Trump has no chance of winning, and by highlighting every item of bad news for Trump, all while insulting and denigrating Trump personally as well.  With traitors like these, who needs Democrats?

Conclusions:  Anything can happen.  Dirty tricks and voter fraud will help Hillary's efforts, but the more reliable polls are close, with Donald ahead in 8 of the RCP polls, and Hillary ahead in only 6 of them.  Trump supporters are far more motivated, and many of Hillary's supporters may stay home on election day.  Trump can win.  Don't give up, get discouraged, or believe the Hillary hype.  Go to the polls on November 8 and vote for Donald Trump!

DONALD TRUMP'S GETTYSBURG SPEECH, 10/22/2016 (VIDEO)

Donald Trump explains his plans for his first 100 days in office. If you missed the live presentation today, you owe it to yourself to hear his amazing speech.

Hillary's Biggest Goal (#Photoshop)

Trump Could Win!

It's hard to know what to believe these days.  For many weeks the various polls at Realclearpolitics.com have indicated a smashing Clinton victory.  Lately, however, the polls seem to be turning around.  Today there are eight polls at Realclearpolitics.com that show Trump ahead, and six showing Clinton ahead.

I'm beginning to believe that Trump could actually win, in spite of the massive media bias against him.

Third Debate - 2016: Probably a Draw

The third presidential debate for 2016 just ended.  I watched the whole thing.  Here are my impressions:

1.  Chris Wallace was a substantially better moderator than the previous moderators in the first two debates.  He asked questions of Hillary that the prior moderators stayed away from, e.g., her using the Clinton Foundation for "pay for play" corruption.  Hillary slithered away from answering.

2.  Hillary was much better on specifics in some cases.  Her ability to quote names and places made her look informed and prepared, especially to people who don't have a clue.  Some of what she quoted was undoubtedly lies.  Hillary was the better speaker, and her responses were crisp and well enunciated.  Donald was far less scripted and more spontaneous, but also less polished.

3.  Both candidates were vague and nonspecific on economics questions, merely making unprovable claims of the wonders they will manifest when president.  Hillary's claims, however, were less credible, in my opinion.  She stressed government action to improve the economy, where Donald stressed using the private sector and growing the economic pie through lower taxes and less regulation.

4.  Trump was effective in bringing up Clinton campaign malfeasance in attempting to stoke violence at Trump rallies.  He also did a good job of answering the bimbo claims that he groped them.  He denied it, and said the claims have been debunked.

5.  Both candidates fell back on prior claims made in the two previous debates.

6.  It is doubtful that the debate changed many minds.

I noticed that most of the online comments by viewers were highly negative for Hillary, but that may be because I was watching the debate via the Fox News website.

Conclusions: the debate was a draw.  On to November 8!  Vote Trump.

Massive Corruption by Democrats Makes 2016 Election the Dirtiest Ever

In the last two or three days, a lot of information has come to light on the extreme corruption of the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign.  Here are a few tidbits for your consideration.

1.  The Obama State Department encouraged the FBI to declassify some of the classified emails on Clinton's private email server.  There was an attempt to bribe the FBI to change the classification of a Benghazi document to help Clinton lie about it, and falsely exonerate Hillary of illegal email use.

2.  James O'Keefe's Project Veritas surreptitiously recorded Democrat officials admitting that the DNC sought to disrupt Trump rallies through the use of violence.  Homeless people were cleaned up, bussed to the events, and encouraged to start fights and set fires.  The DNC also organized and planned the blocking of  traffic in Arizona to prevent people from attending a Trump rally there.  Two Trump rallies, one in Chicago and another in Minneapolis, were cancelled due to the threats of Democrat violence.  Trump rally attendees in San Jose, California were beaten up or egged.  Recently, in Maine, cars of Trump rally attendees were vandalized with spray paint.

3.  Massive voter fraud is in the works.  Thousands of ballots for Hillary were found in a warehouse in Ohio, and voter fraud investigations are underway in Texas, Indiana and elsewhere.

4.  The Democrat media refuses to cover damaging disclosures revealed by WikiLeaks, and John Kerry got Julian Assange's internet access turned off so WikiLeaks could not reveal any more emails or documents that are embarrassing to the DNC.

The intensity of Democrat malfeasance has never been this high.  If Hillary is so far ahead and expected to be the sure winner, why is such criminality necessary?  Perhaps the race is closer than that we have been told.

Republican Headquarters Fire-Bombed in North Carolina

The expression "Politics is war by other means" is apparently literally true now.  Democrats fire-bombed a Republican Headquarters in North Carolina today.  In another, separate incident, Democrats vandalized 20 cars outside of a Trump rally in Maine,  The cars were spray-painted.

Democrats are thugs.  Well actually, only about 97% of Democrats are thugs, yet they make a bad name for the whole party.

My Election Intuition Was Right in 2008, But What About Today in 2016?

Eight years ago, on October 3, 2008, I had a sudden flash of insight about the looming election of McCain vs. Obama.  That flash of insight caused me to believe that the election was lost to the GOP, that Barack Obama would win.  I wrote:
My intuition is often very accurate. This morning when I woke up, I had a strong feeling of certitude that we Republicans are going to lose this election and that Barack Obama will be the next president of the United States. It wasn’t a panicky feeling or a worried feeling or a feeling of fear, it was a calm realization, an inner knowing. It told me in a quiet but clear voice that the election is lost. The inner voice presented it to me as a done deal.
I further explained:
The reason is simple. Americans just get tired of the same brand, the same color, the same style and want to make a change. It’s a gamble that they are willing to take, that some way, somehow, someone new may have the answers to the country’s ills just as he promises. They just want a change, and not for any deep political or philosophical reasons, but as a simple reaction to boredom. That's the main reason Hillary lost to Obama. The public is tired of hearing about the Clintons. It's an old book that they've read before.before.
What does my amazing intuition tell me today?  It says..."DUH!  Beats the hell outta me."

However, I do see some hope from that second paragraph above, where I said "the public is tired of hearing about the Clintons.  It's an old book that they've read before."

Let's hope they still feel that way.

Democrat Media Launches Final Assault; Disseminating Bogus Bimbo Tales of Trump

Although it is very dirty pool, the Democrat major media always uses the same rotten trick to disparage Republican candidates.  They come up with various women who state that they were groped by the Republican candidate.  They did it to Arnold Schwarzenegger, when he ran for governor of California; they did it to Herman Cain when he was a candidate for president.  Today it is Donald Trump's turn.  Today the New York Times has revealed the claims of at least two women that Trump either came on to them, or groped them -- one of the claims is from 30 years ago.

Trump is denying the claims of these Democrat women and threatening to sue them and the New York Times for slander.

I am neither shocked nor outraged by the NY Slimes bimbo tales, because the tactic is so overused and predictable.  Don't buy it.

Rush today is claiming that a lot of the polls are false and designed to discourage and depress the Republican vote.  Don't let those polls discourage you either.  Rasmussen today shows Trump up over Hillary by 43% to 41%.  Trump has a good chance for winning this, and that is why the NY Slimes has now resorted to desperation moves.

Mike Pence Denies Any Plans to Leave the Trump Ticket; Expresses Support for Trump

On Fox & Friends, Gov. Mike Pence shot down reports that he was considering leaving the Republican presidential ticket and said Donald J. Trump "stepped up and won a debate last night that seemed to be against all odds."

http://bit.ly/2dJLfPG

There are a lot of lies coming out of Democrat websites.  One of these was that Mike Pence, the Republican VP candidate, was so outraged over the sex talk tape, that he was planning to leave the Trump ticket.   The story is false.

Another lie is that the Republican higher-ups are meeting secretly to replace Trump with another candidate.  This too is untrue.

We are being barraged with outrageous rumors and lies in order to demoralize us and keep us away from the polls.  Don't fall for it.

Post Debate: Liberal Political Sites In Full Spin Mode After Hillary's Loss

Bill Clinton at the 2nd Presidential Debate
It's always shocking to see such brazen lying on the part of liberal pundits and websites.  I watched the debate last night, all of it.  Donald controlled the stage, was confident, informed and well prepared.  Hillary was on defense all night.  Trump  destroyed her in debate.  Conservative sites and pundits were ecstatic over Trump's triumph.

Nevertheless, leftwing sites are falsely claiming that "Clinton crushed Trump for the second time," and "Clinton Wins Debate."  What complete and utter falsehood.

If the Dems lie so much, it is indeed possible that they are misrepresenting the polls.  We will know in 29 days.  Meanwhile, don't believe the Democrat propaganda.

TRUMP CLEAR WINNER IN SECOND DEBATE WITH HILLARY CLINTON

The second debate just ended and, in my opinion, Trump was the clear winner.  He was aggressive and prepared.  It was true that Anderson Cooper's first question to Trump was designed to really excoriate Trump over the video tape released two days ago.  It was designed to make Trump look like a criminal.  It didn't work.  Trump said he talked about things that he really doesn't do.

When Hillary then took Donald to task for his alleged sexism, the retaliated by bringing up her husband's sexual assaults on women, on his losing his law license and on the hefty damages payments he had to make to two of his victims.  Hillary had no comeback to this.

Throughout the debate, Donald Trump looked unflappable, at ease, in control, and prepared.  Hillary dealt mainly in rehearsed talking points, liberal goals that are wrong and destructive, like "making the economy work for everybody, not just those at the top," which is absurd.  Government can't make the economy work, but they can make it suffer through ill advised intervention into the private sector.

Hillary also said she supported higher taxes on corporations and the rich.  That should work to force more businesses overseas.  What a fool.

Well now I am going to check the spot polls and see what others are saying.  I think it is obvious, however, that Trump won the debate.  His performance was much stronger this time around.

TRUMP INTERVIEWS CLINTON'S SEXUAL ASSAULT VICTIMS (VIDEO)

Trump Supporters: FIGHT LIKE HELL Before November 8!

I have never seen any political candidate in my long life treated as badly as Donald Trump.  The left is at war with with all who oppose their globalization of socialism.  This election has become a pitched battle for the soul and future of America, and the leftist, liberals and Democrats are all in to win at any and all costs.

The Democrats' long-time policy has been to dig up dirt on Republican candidates and reveal it as an "October Surprise," in order to dissuade voters from voting for the Republican.  They did it during Bill Clinton's era, when they brought in porn magazine publisher Larry Flynt, who offered reward money to anyone who might out Republican candidates who may have had affairs.  He was somewhat successful as I recall, leading one Republican Congressman, Bob Livingston, to resign his seat.  Livingston was the leading candidate at that time for Speaker of the House, and his resignation helped save Bill Clinton from impeachment conviction.

Other Democrat attempts to undermine Republicans include Arnold Schwarzenegger, who had several women come forward just before the California gubernatorial election, claiming they had been groped by Schwarzenegger.  Schwarzenegger won anyway.

Newt Gingrich was taken to task for divorcing his wife while she had cancer, to marry another.

Of course, the Dims never had any complaints about the mistresses of FDR, John F. Kennedy, Ted Kennedy, and serial adulterer and rapist, Bill Clinton.

So should we care about Trump's sex talk in 2005?  NO.  It is irrelevant and a glaring example of the double standard of the Democrat mainstream press.

No matter how many RINO Republicans abandon Trump, we the people should not.  If we are going down in this election, so be it.  But let us FIGHT LIKE HELL to win the election for Trump.  Vote, don't sit out the election, and pressure your friends and relatives to do the same.

It ain't over til the Fat Hillary Sings.

Donald Trump's Statement on Remarks About Women [VIDEO]

Here is Donald Trump's statement on his eleven-year old remarks about women.  He notes that Bill Clinton was a sexual abuser of women and that Hillary intimidated and shamed Bill's women victims.

Donald Trump: Here is my statement. I’ve never said I’m a perfect person, nor pretended to be someone that I’m not. I’ve said and done things I regret, and the words released today on this more than a decade-old video are one of them. Anyone who knows me, know these words don’t reflect who I am. I said it, it was wrong, and I apologize. I’ve travelled the country talking about change for America. But my travels have also changed me. I’ve spent time with grieving mothers who’ve lost their children, laid off workers whose jobs have gone to other countries, and people from all walks of life who just want a better future. I have gotten to know the great people of our country, and I’ve been humbled by the faith they’ve placed in me. I pledge to be a better man tomorrow, and will never, ever let you down.

Let’s be honest. We’re living in the real world. This is nothing more than a distraction from the important issues we are facing today. We are losing our jobs, we are less safe than we were 8 years ago and Washington is broken. Hillary Clinton, and her kind, have run our country into the ground. I’ve said some foolish things, but there is a big difference between words and actions. Bill Clinton has actually abused women and Hillary has bullied, attacked, shamed and intimidated his victims. We will discuss this more in the coming days. See you at the debate on Sunday.

Washington Post's October Surprise

An eleven-year old tape of Trump bantering about sexy women has been found and released by the Washington Post.  How relevant is this peccadillo, really, to Trump's ability to lead the nation as president? None at all.  It is more dirty pool by the Democrat media in support of their fellow far-leftist and candidate.

The audio was made when Trump was talking with another man at some public event, not realizing that his microphone was still on, and being recorded.

Of course, the Democrat media is saying that this is the end of Trump's candidacy, and cuckservatives like Reince Priebus and Paul Ryan are joining their fellow liberals in denouncing Trump.  Trump's candidacy has been continually attacked by both Democrats and Republicans, ever since he won the primaries.  It will be difficult for Trump to win now.  One thing is for sure, however, is that for me, the GOP is dead.  Give me another party (not the idiotic libertarians) and I will change my registration immediately.

In the remaining two debates, Trump really must aggressively attack Hillary for being the manager of her husband's "bimbo eruptions," i.e. by hiding Bill's many extra-marital affairs while running for office.  Not only did she try to hide Bill's sexual predation against other women, she intimidated and threatened the other women in order to shut them up.

If you're going to lose, Donald, go down fighting like a bastard.

2016 Election Worries

We are five weeks away from the presidential election of 2016.  The polls are close, but generally show Hillary winning.  This is worrisome.  I go through my day with vague feelings of upset, annoyance and irritation.

I don't want to wallow in either false hope or pessimism, but here is what I am seeing:

1.  California's teeming freeways do not show any Hillary/Kaine bumper stickers.  I have seen no Hillary yard signs.  I see this as a lack of enthusiasm of the old bat's candidacy.  The left will vote for her, but only if they are motivated enough to get off the couch and go to the polls.  Let's hope enough of them stay home on November 8th to affect the outcome.

2.  There are no Trump ads on television in California.  Trump has written California off, but that is understandable.  California is far left and getting worse daily.  However, Trump apparently is pulling his ads in three other states, i.e. Ohio, North Carolina and Florida.  Why?  I fear that Trump is not fighting hard enough to win.  Will he be prepared for Sunday's debate with Hillary?

UPDATE:  Rush says Trump is only pulling ads out of rural areas where he has commanding leads.  The leftist mainstream media is trying to give the false impression that the ad pulls are a Trump admission of defeat.

What do we do if Hillary wins and we are stuck with another four years of Obama's disastrous policies?  If that happens, I will give up on retaking the country from the Bolsheviks, and will donate my time advocating secession of the red states and the formation of a new union.

The Vice Presidential Debate of 2016 -- My Impressions

I watched the vice presidential debate between Tim Kaine (Democrat) and Mike Pence (Republican) tonight.  It was interesting and I felt that Pence had the better showing.

Kaine attacked Pence early and often, making accusations and issuing sound bites against Trump.  Kaine interrupted Pence in the early part of the debate, talking over Pence when it was Pence's time to speak.  Kaine came across as rude and boorish, while Pence was far more gentlemanly and polite.

I am confident that the television audience noticed Kaine's brutish behavior.  So far, every poll I have seen indicates Mike Pence won the debate by a wide margin.

Donald Trump's Taxes: a CPA's View

UI am a practicing CPA, and therefore my opinion on Trump's taxes should be taken as that of a tax professional, not those of a speculating, supposing neophyte layman.

In 1995, Trump paid no taxes on his personal return.  The reason for this is simple:  taxes are paid on income.  If you have no income, or if you have business loss, you pay no personal income taxes.

If you are self-employed or you are a corporation, you can roll business losses of one year forward or backward to lessen the taxable income of a subsequent year or a prior year.  This is called a "net operating loss carryover."  It isn't illegal or unethical, it is part of the tax code.  Hillary Clinton and spouse have also used this same provision of the tax code to lower their taxes.

My most recent exposure to the net operating loss provision is in a corporate tax return that was on extension until September 15.  The corporation had a loss in 2014, which I rolled forward to 2015, thereby lowering the 2015 taxable income.

Say the corporation had a loss of $6,000 in 2014, and a gain of $10,000 in 2015.  The taxable income for 2015 would then be $4,000. ($(6,000) + $10,000 = $4,000).

This provision is part of the tax code and it is commonly used.  Hillary Clinton's attempt to make political hay out of Trump's use of this provision is dishonest and misleading -- and she knows it.

Hillary's Profane and Vile Treatment of Other People

Hillary's Hypocrisy: How the Left Brutalizes Republican Women

Hillary has been trying very hard to deflect public attention way from her many scandals and screw-ups, with the horrid and shocking tale of Donald Trump's misogyny.   He once called a woman Miss Piggy!  Horrors!  What a bully!

Don't be fooled.  Trump was trying to motivate fatso Alicia Machado, Miss Universe, into losing some weight.  After she won the crown of Miss Universe, she was awarded various promotional and advertising deals, and the chance to make some money.  However, she then went on an eating binge and quickly gained 50 pounds.  Not a great image for Miss Universe..

Hillary's hypocrisy knows no bounds.  Democrats, especially those associated with the Clintons, have brutally bullied Republican women for political purposes, especially with regard to their personal appearance.  In 2009 I wrote:
During the Clinton era certain Republican women, like Kathleen Harris and Linda Tripp, were given a large dose of grief by the Left. Harris was described by a liberal columnist as looking like she "applied her makeup with a trowel." Tripp was treated even worse, insulted almost beyond imagination as to her personal appearance. Tripp later underwent plastic surgery and apologized for her prior appearance, saying she didn't realize how awful it was. She had been thoroughly punished for breaking the Monica Lewinsky scandal. The Left had gotten into her head and messed with it effectively.
Another example is Paula Jones, an Arkansas employee whom Bill Clinton propositioned for sex.  James Carville, a Democrat operative, described Paula Jones this way:  "Drag a hundred-dollar bill through a trailer park, you never know what you'll find."

Read the post here, "How the Left Punishes Conservatives."

Donald Trump's Wake-Up Call

It is annoying seeing Hillary with her smug smirk, going to rallies, believing she really knocked it out of the park in the first debate.  She did well, better than Trump, but not by much.  This may be a good thing, in that it was a wake-up call for Donald Trump.  Donald can't sit on his laurels.  Winning this election is far from automatic.

Advantage Hillary. Trump's Missed Opportunities in First Debate.

I'd say Hillary won the debate. All she had to do was exceed expectations and she did that. She was well rehearsed and polished. She didn't cough or faint. Of course, she had the moderator in her corner and that helped. Donald should have prepared better than he did.

Having said that, it was not a runaway for Hillary. She scored no knock-out points. Trump held his own and did not mount a strong offensive, did not create a sympathetic backlash in her favor. Trump was good at not letting the moderator score points for Hillary.

Hopefully, Trump will not be overconfident in the second debate and will prepare for it more effectively. He missed some good opportunities. Criticizing a leftist bigmouth like Rosie O'Donnell is not the same as "attacking all women." Doubting Obama's birthplace is not "racist." When discussing Internet security, he should have mentioned Hillary's criminal misuse of a hackable private email server as proof of her hypocrisy on the subject. And trump never mentioned her corruption via the Clinton Foundation's Pay for Play and her grossly overpaid "speeches" that were really disguised bribes.

Donald, you've got to do better, and it's time to mount an advertising blitz.

First DebateTonight!

The first presidential debate takes place tonight.  I surely don't need to listen to a debate to decide for whom I want to vote.  Some people do, apparently -- the low information voters.  Hillary will be trying to make Trump look like an ogre.  Let's hope he keeps his cool.

Michael Savage's Stream of Consciousness

I was just listening to Michael Savage on the radio.  I have noted this many times before, that Savage doesn't have a prepared show.  His show is just his own personal "stream of consciousness," saying whatever pops into his head.  His thoughts meander in many directions, but there is no show prep, no recordings of news snippets on which to comment, few, if any, references to published articles or news stories.  The whole idea seems to just keep talking for the two hours of his show.  For me, it gets boring quickly.

The 2016 Presidential Elections and Polls (#Trump, #Hillary)

Speaking of Great Pumpkins rising out of the Pumpkin Patch, it looks as if Hillary's pumpkin may not be rising after all.  She is behind Trump in the latest polls, and the electoral college is all tied up.  Some websites are saying that the race is over, that Hillary is headed for defeat.  I certainly hope so, but you never can count on anything until the votes are counted.

I see former President George H.W. Bush will be voting for Hillary Clinton.  Bush is all upset because Trump massacred his son's political chances -- I refer to the awful Jeb Bush.  Jeb Bush is the quintessential liberal establishment Republican, who supported Muslim and illegal immigration and even transgenders in the military.  He would have been a disaster as President.  Drudge Report today described former President Bush as "Hillary's Bush," a funny and not so subtle reference to the fact that Mr. Bush is one giant pussy.

The presidential debates are a week away, and Shrillary has to be trembling in her pantsuit.  She is a terrible speaker and has so many targets pasted on her prodigious behind that Trump should have an easy time of it:  Benghazi, Email Server, Clinton Foundation and corruption.  Then there are the books of former guards and associates that describe how vile, profane and vitriolic Hillary really is, when out of sight of the public.

The question is, will Hillary even show up?  She has far more to lose than gain in the debates.  Will she have another coughing fit during the debates?  Will she call in sick?  Or will she just state that she will not share a public platform with the "racist, sexist, Xenophobic, Islamophobic" Donald?

Linus and the Great Pumpkin Patch (#Illustrator, #Photoshop #Halloween)

This image is way too early for Halloween, but it is how I spent most of my day and I am anxious to share it.  I drew Linus and the Pumpkins with Adobe Illustrator, but the leaves and everything else was created with Photoshop.  Save it and use it for Halloween if you like.

Trannies in the Navy

IN THE NAVY

The U.S. Navy is now providing mandatory training to all personnel on the acceptance and support of transgender recruits in the Navy.

Transgender sailors are those who like to dress up like girls:  cute dresses, lipstick, mascara.  How sweeeeeeet.

Our country has become a bad joke.  What's a girlie-man going to do in combat?  Hit the enemy with his purse?

And what's next in the cultural disruption program?  Will exhibitionists be allowed in?  Will they be provided with trench coats?

Perhaps practitioners of bestiality will be the next victim-group.  Men will marry cows at Annapolis as uniformed officers present an arch of swords overhead to honor the newlyweds as they walk down the aisle.  Anti-cow people will be called racists.  Target will open its bathrooms and dressing rooms to quadrupeds.  The Democratic Convention will feature a horse as its keynote speaker.

We so need a revolution.  Until we can arrange one, VOTE TRUMP.

My Drawing of Charlie Brown (#Illustrator)

I figured I could study or draw Charlie Brown.  Charlie won.  I drew him in a blue shirt instead of the usual orange or yellow.

Charles Schultz, the cartoonist who invented the comic series "Peanuts," knew well the cares and concerns of grade school kids.  There were kite-eating trees, baseball teams that never won a game, little Red Haired girls that captured your heart.  There was an obnoxious brunette (Lucy) who tricked you into kicking a football that was drawn away at the last minute.

The upside of childhood, however, was a loyal dog with a great imagination (at times assuming the role of a World War I Ace pilot, a lawyer, or a writer), and whose best friend was a bird who often flew upside down.  There was Peppermint Patty, a kind of young hippie/tomboy who wore sandals and played great baseball, and Linus, a kid who was overly attached to a blanket and who believed in The Great Pumpkin.

Charlie Brown, however, was the chief protagonist in this drama of life, always screwing up, failing at everything he tried, enduring one humiliation after another, but who never quit trying.  Alas, he never was able to connect with the little Red-Haired girl whom he loved from afar.

There are a lot of us who can identify with Charlie Brown.

Fall Scene 2016 #Photoshop

Just for fun.  Trying out brushes and experimenting a bit with Photoshop.

The bark on the tree is real.  I copied it from a picture and used the "paste into" function to put it on my drawn tree trunk.

The pumpkins could be more realistic.  I used Adobe Illustrator to make them, then put them into my Photoshop graphic.

I did not create the barn.  It is from a picture found on the web.

September 11: 15 Years Ago Today; Muslim Atrocities Continue

Twin Towers Destroyed, 9/11/2001

Fifteen years ago today, most Americans were introduced to a violent and hateful ideology:  ISLAM.  Nineteen Muslims hijacked four commercial jet airliners and used the planes as Kamikaze flying bombs to destroy the Twin Towers and damage the Pentagon.  The fourth airplane was diverted from its unknown target by the passengers, who attempted to storm the cockpit.  The panicked Muslims flying the plane opted to dive the plane into the ground, killing everyone on board.  Total people murdered by Muslins on 9/11/2001:  2,996.  Over 6,000 were injured, and property damage was around 10 billion dollars.  Link.

Since that terrible day, Muslims, acting on behalf of their religion, have perpetrated numerous atrocities all across the globe.  The major ones that occurred in the United States include:

1.  Fort Hood, Texas:  In November 2009, a Muslim officer, one Nidal Hassan, opened fire on soldiers and civilians, killing 13 and wounding another 32.  Link.   The perpetrator sits on death row in an army prison.

2.  Boston Marathon, Boston, Massachusetts:  On April 15, 2013, two Muslim immigrants planted bombs among the spectators of the Boston Marathon.  When the bombs exploded, three people were killed and 264 others were wounded, some losing arms or legs.  The terrorist-Muslims also shot to death a policeman in their bid to escape.  Link.  One perpetrator was killed and the other now sits on death row.

3.  San Bernardino, California:  On December 2, 2015, two Muslim immigrants ( a man and his wife) invaded a Christmas banquet and shot to death 80 people and wounded 22 more.  Both Muslims were shot to death by police.  Link.

4.  Orlando, Florida:  On June 12, 2016, a Muslim American invaded a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, and shot and killed 49 people, and wounded another 53.  Link.   The perpetrator was shot to death by police.

These are the major Muslim attacks on America, but there were numerous other failed attempts, and several smaller incidents where only one or two people were killed.

All of these attacks have these facts in common:

1.  All of the attacks were carried out by devout Muslims acting on behalf of their religion.

2.  All of the victims were unknown to the attackers, innocents killed at random for no other reason than this:  they were not Muslims.

Ahh, September!

A Stogie Photoshop Depicting Fall

September is here, and already I can feel the faint stirrings of Fall.  More subdued sunlight, a slight chill in the mornings.  I love this time of year.

Some slightly good news:  Trump is edging ahead of Hillary in political polls.  She will probably find a way to steal the election with so many powerful institutions on her side, e.g. the major media, the Dept of Homeland Security, the mainstream GOP.  Nevertheless, I have hope that she will be defeated and the country saved.

Right now, two things are vying for my attention:  a corporate tax return, due September 15, continuing professional education -- I need another 28 hours by December 1st to renew my CPA license.  After those chores are under control, I will explore ways to create more graphical art using Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.  I love doing graphic art.

Well that corporate tax return won't prepare itself, so over and out, homies.

Gene Wilder Died Today. He Was 83. #GeneWilder

Gene Wilder

Gene Wilder, one of my favorite all-time comedians, died today from complications of Alzheimer's Disease.  He was 83 years old.

For several decades of my life, Gene Wilder was a name that would bring a smile to my face.  He was fantastic in "Blazing Saddles" and "Young Frankenstein," as well as "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."  The first two films mentioned were a source of great belly laughs to me and my family.  He was truly a very funny guy.

Gene was once married to Saturday Night Live star Gilda Radner, until she died of ovarian cancer in 1989.

I'll miss him.

Carlos Danger (AKA Anthony Weiner) Returns! (#Weiner)

Drudge today tells us that Anthony Weiner, a sexting Democrat, has returned.  A few years back Weiner was pressured to resign from Congress after tweeting a picture of his erection (under his gym shorts) to the public by accident.  He claimed his account had been hacked, but was ultimately forced to admit he just screwed up.

Weiner is married to a Muslim woman, Huma Abedin, who is Hillary's chief aid.

I previously wrote about Weiner's escapades in several posts, but my favorite is this one from July 27, 2013, in which I described him as "the Walter Mitty of Masculine Sexuality":

Anthony Weiner:  the Walter Mitty of Masculine Sexuality #Weiner

July 27, 2013

What a Sex Pot
Anthony Weiner is an embarrassment, not only to the Democratic Party, but to men in general.  He is running for Mayor of New York, but it recently came to light that he has been "sexting," sending salacious text messages to young women, posing online as "Carlos Danger" and displaying his genitals digitally.  This week he held a joint news conference with his wife, admitting his online foolishness while his wife dutifully stood by him.

This is not Weiner's first forage into madness.  Back in 2011 he accidentally tweeted a picture of his crotch with an erection, which led to his resignation from Congress after it was revealed he lied about it to the media, falsely claiming that his Twitter account had been "hacked."  I wrote about his foolishness here.

After resigning from Congress, he kept right on doing his online pursuits, meeting women online and sending sexy texts and revealing images of himself.

The man has a serious problem.  He apparently has a deep need for young women to find him sexy and masculine and desirable.  Unfortunately, he has only the sex appeal of Don Knotts or Steve Urkel to fulfill his Sean Connery fantasy.  Anthony Weiner is not only not handsome, he is rather homely, nerdy and utterly forgettable.

Weiner reminds me of the Walter Mitty character featured in James Thurber's short story, "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty."  Walter Mitty is a senior citizen, not terribly competent at anything, and led around by his wife who manages him closely.  During a shopping trip to the city, Walter Mitty engages in one heroic fantasy after the other.  He imagines himself to be the commander of an airship during a fierce battle, a defendant in a murder trial who is a crack shot, a World War I Airforce captain who must fly through hell:
. . "The cannonading has got the wind up in young Raleigh, sir," said the sergeant. Captain Mitty looked up at him through tousled hair. "Get him to bed," he said wearily, "with the others. I'll fly alone." "But you can't, sir," said the sergeant anxiously. "It takes two men to handle that bomber and the Archies are pounding hell out of the air. Von Richtman's circus is between here and Saulier." "Somebody's got to get that ammunition dump," said Mitty. "I'm going over. Spot of brandy?" He poured a drink for the sergeant and one for himself. War thundered and whined around the dugout and battered at the door. There was a rending of wood and splinters flew through the room. "A bit of a near thing," said Captain Mitty carelessly. 'The box barrage is closing in," said the sergeant. "We only live once, Sergeant," said Mitty, with his faint, fleeting smile. "Or do we?" He poured another brandy and tossed it off. "I never seen a man could hold his brandy like you, sir," said the sergeant. "Begging your pardon, sir." Captain Mitty stood up and strapped on his huge Webley-Vickers automatic. "It's forty kilometers through hell, sir," said the sergeant. Mitty finished one last brandy. "After all," he said softly, "what isn't?" The pounding of the cannon increased; there was the rat-tat-tatting of machine guns, and from somewhere came the menacing pocketa-pocketa-pocketa of the new flame-throwers. Walter Mitty walked to the door of the dugout humming "Aupres de Ma Blonde." He turned and waved to the sergeant. "Cheerio!" he said. . . .
Weiner is the Walter Mitty of masculine sexuality.  Carlos Danger's desired prowess exists only in his imagination.

The Problems With Black People: a Fred Reed Article

Fred Reed isn't always right, but he's right about this:  the chronic problems of black people appear unsolvable and intractable.  Fred writes:

It isn’t working. The racial thing, I mean. The hunting of whites, beatings of whites, calls for attacks on whites. In the age of cell phones, the media can hide only so much.
To avoid admitting that we are seeing a racial insurgency, the media insist that the police are the problem. They are not. Blacks are unmistakably gripped by a powerful racial hatred of white people. If the police were perfect, nothing would change.
There seems to be no solution. The underlying problem that will not go away is that blacks as a race have not shown themselves able to function in a modern society. Degrees and exceptions yes, but the central fact remains. One is not supposed to say this, and would that it were not true, but it is.
Read it all here.

2016 Elections: We're Screwed Again

The polls are showing Hillary winning the election in November.  It's hard to believe that the American people could be that totally dumb, uninformed and out of touch.  But they are.  Here's why:

1.  The mainstream media has never been so partisan.  They report what they want you to hear, suppress what they don't, and spin bad news that they can't hide.  The major media is Democrat and an arm of the Democratic Party.  There is no objective journalism in the United States.

2.  Most people are low information voters.  They make their voting decision on sound bites and fleeting impressions of the candidates.  They are lazy and uninformed.  They don't bother to realize that how they vote affects their own pocket books, personal security and long-term prospects.

3.  Donald Trump has shot himself in the foot too many times.  When you are the head of a multimillion dollar corporation, you can say anything you want in the workplace; no one will dare challenge you.  That doesn't work in the public arena.  Trump has given the media a lot of ammunition to use against him.  His recent acknowledgement and apology for this may help some, but there are only two months before the election.  Time is not on his side.

Pamela Geller: a Graphic Portrait in Adobe Illustrator CC

I have been working on this graphic for a week, spending many hours learning how to do it.  I did the graphic as a learning exercise for Adobe Illustrator CC, and yes, I did learn a lot.  You learn by doing.

This is my portrait of Pamela Geller.  Is it perfect?  No.  But it ain't bad for a first serious effort at creating a digital portrait using Adobe Illustrator.  This program is not user friendly.  It's complicated, because it does a lot of complicated things.  Use as you see fit.

Watching Hogewash! on Your Computer

Per a request:

Learning Adobe Illustrator CC

I purchased Adobe Illustrator last week, and have been spending many hours attempting to learn it.  It is just about as difficult to learn as Photoshop.  What I really want to do is to create vector art with it, drawing and painting portraits of people, especially famous people.

This week I have been following a five part YouTube tutorial, using Pamela Geller as my chosen subject.  She is a beautiful, well-known conservative woman, and that is why I picked her.  Certain parts of the portrait have been completed with pretty fair results, namely, the eyes and mouth and teeth.  I am not satisfied with the teeth yet, however.

Still to do:  the nose, the contours of the face, using the blend mode.  The great thing about attempting this portrait is that it forces me to learn to use the Illustrator graphic tools, and to research problems as they arise.  In other words, to build a skill set through dire necessity.

Illustrator can create graphic art that is photo realistic.  Take for example this Illustrator drawing I found on the web.  The lips could be better -- they look too dry.  The teeth, however, are amazingly lifelike.

Adobe Illustrator: My First Attempt

I have added Adobe Illustrator to my graphics programs.  It is a vector graphics program -- that means it draws pictures.  The graphic at the left is my first attempt, using a tutorial I found on YouTube.  Frankly, it isn't very good.  However, the only way to learn a graphics art program is to use it, learn what controls do what.  So my first learning episode is done, and I will seek a more sophisticated tutorial for my next attempt.
