The National Bloggers Club: Ali Akbar Should Resign as President

National Bloggers Club per Team Kimberlin
Ali Akbar has been the leader of the organization known as the National Bloggers Club (NBC) since he formed it a few years ago.  It is an organization of conservative bloggers, and puts on the "Blogbash" event at CPAC each year.

Apparently, Akbar did not file tax returns with the State of Texas for two years, and the State revoked the NBC's ability to do business as a Texas corporation.  It also released the name "National Bloggers Club" for anyone else to grab, and notorious ex-felon, vexatious litigant and righty-hater Brett Kimberlin did so.  Now Kimberlin's favorite toady, Bill Schmalfeldt, is tweeting from the "NBC" claiming to be the National Bloggers Club.  Brett Kimberlin has put up a notice on the "New National Bloggers Club" website, ordering Ali Akbar to remove all references to the name "National Bloggers Club":
To: ali@blogbash.org
Sent: Friday, March 7, 2014 8:13:13 PM
Subject: Official Notification re National Bloggers Club Inc.

To whom it may concern:

Please take this as formal notice that the State of Texas has forfeited your rights to the National Bloggers Club as of February 21, 2014, after revoking your right to transact business on October 16, 2013. I have assumed those rights through proper legal processes.

You are hereby notified that you may not use the National Bloggers Club name for any purpose, including on any website, for any fundraising, or for marketing or promotion. You must immediately remove any and all references to the National Bloggers Club on any website and from any bank accounts. If you opened any bank accounts or set up any fundraising tools or sites using the National Bloggers Club name or any corporate papers issued by the State of Texas, you must shut those down immediately.

Please note that within four days, I will be meeting or talking with officials from the State of Texas in the Attorney General’s Office, other departments, the FBI and the IRS regarding your use of the National Bloggers Club to raise funds based on fraudulent misrepresentations regarding the validity and 501c3 status of the National Bloggers Club.

Brett Kimberlin
Another controversy surrounding Akbar's leadership of the National Bloggers Club is the organization's non-profit status.  Initially, the Club advertised itself as a 501(c)3 organization (to which donations are deductible for tax purposes), but there is no proof that the NBC ever filed papers with the IRS to become such an organization.  So what is the status of the 501(c)3 application, Ali?

As an aside, I do not believe that the NBC ever deliberately tried to misrepresent their status as a non-profit organization.  I believe they intended to become one, but just dropped the ball.  I have only seen one such representation, and no more.  This appears to have been an honest mistake rather than an intent to mislead anyone.  Of course, Kimberlin and his toadies have jumped on it and blew it all out of proportion.  They were apparently able to do so due to Akbar's negligence in the matter.

MY CONCLUSIONS to all of this is that Kimberlin has used Akbar's administrative incompetence to harrass and embarrass the National Bloggers Club.  This happened due to Ali Akbar's failure to take care of business.  This is especially surprising because Kimberlin has has had an extreme grudge against Akbar and the NBC for at least two years, and Akbar should have known better than to be so sloppy and allow Kimberlin a clear shot.

Ali Akbar should resign as president of the National Bloggers Club.  I am not a member, and will not become one unless the Club installs a leadership that I can trust for competence and professionalism to protect my interests as a conservative blogger.

The Kimberlin/Rauhauser/Schmalfeldt Backstory

Kimberlin Unmasked has another comic up today, one that tells the backstory of the Brett Kimberlin saga of suing conservatives...for telling the truth about Kimberlin's sordid past.

Why would Brett Kimberlin care about anyone telling the truth about his criminal past?  It has been well documented in years past, through news articles of his trials and sentences, and by author Mark Singer in his book, Citizen K:  the Deeply Weird American Journey of Brett Kimberlin.  I found a copy of the out-of-print book on Amazon and read it cover to cover.

Kimberlin Unmasked's post references a lengthy article by Robert Stacy McCain, which explains the history of Kimberlin's current spate of lawsuits that began in 2010, when a liberal blogger named Seth Allen alleged that Kimberlin's 501 (c) 4 organization, Velvet Revolution, was a scam to make money through liberal donations.  If this is true, then the vicious legal attacks by "Team Kimberlin" make a lot more sense.  This is more than just a pissing match over conflicting political ideology, it is a fight by Kimberlin to protect whatever credibility he has with the liberal donors who fund his operations.  Since he raised around two million bucks before Seth Allen blew the whistle, it is obvious that serious money is at stake.

Some leftists have been running donation scams for years.  The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is the most extreme example, labeling various conservatives as "racists" for their legitimate political views that have little or nothing to do with race.  SPLC created a double benefit for itself, slandering conservatives while reaping great quantities of cash from liberal donors.  We're talking tens of millions of dollars.  (Some of the best exposés of SPLC have been made by various ethical liberal writers.)

If McCain is correct (and I have no reason to doubt him), Kimberlin ally Neal Rauhauser has been conspiring since 2010 to launch malicious prosecution and abusive process legal actions against conservative pundits and groups, beginning with the Chamber of Commerce.  The idea was to destroy these individuals and organizations while reaping great cash rewards in the process.  And if the suits failed, then Rauhauser's cabal of conspirators could at least cause their conservative targets much time and money in defending the suits.  We are greatly indebted to R.S. McCain who has tracked down the details of this story and compiled them into a comprehensible narrative.  For his efforts, he has been targeted by Brett Kimberlin and named as a defendant in Kimberlin's abusive RICO lawsuit.  Go here and donate to McCain.

Rauhauser's conspiracy was nuts to begin with, and probably would have failed, because being conservative is not a crime or a violation of the rights of leftists.  It is for this same reason that Brett Kimberlin's false RICO suit against 22 defendants will also fail.  The suit is fake, a malicious attempt to misuse the courts to punish anyone who tells the truth about Brett Kimberlin and his business organizations.  I have read Kimberlin's lawsuit.  One does not have to be an attorney to see how thin and specious his claims are.

Brett Kimberlin and Neal Rauhauser are very bad apples, inspired by dark motivations. Their associate Bill Schmalfeldt is a small fish in their poisonous pond, more of an annoyance than anything else.  Normally, I wouldn't be concerned with any of them, but their abuse of the court system to punish conservatives (and liberals who expose them) clearly affects us all.  The story is therefore fascinating, and it will be interesting to see how it all plays out.  I expect their dastardly deeds will explode in their faces, and I look forward to that conclusion with great anticipation.

Are Liberals Like Bill Schmalfeldt Just Plain Crazy?

I thought I'd peek in on Bill Schmalfeldt over at Twitter to see what kind of tweets he's making lately.  There was an unending stream of them, mostly weird and accusatory and often obscene.  I'm not a psychiatrist, but I do believe Billy Boy is just plain crazy.  He has an unhealthy obsession with various conservative bloggers and every waking minute of his day is spent (or so it seems) sending out tweets or posting blog entries excoriating said bloggers.  Here's his twitter feed, judge for yourself (his twitter pages often disappear to be replaced with new ones, so look at it while you can).

Why do so many really scary people become liberal/leftist/progressives?  I remember a few years back when the Protein Wisdom blogger was harassed and cyberstalked by a crazy woman, a university teacher in Arizona, divorced with a young daugter and recent convert to lesbianism.  She kept inferring that the targeted blogger was somehow sexually molesting his very young son.  The blogger obtained a restraining order to make her stop, and she soon lost her teaching job.

When we say that liberalism is a mental disorder, we say it in jest, usually.  The truth seems to be a bit different:  those with mental disorders tend to become liberals.

More About Bill:
Schmalfeldt has discovered an app that allows one to pixilate photos, and has now created his own cartoon page called "Breitbots" on Wordpress.

ANOTHER Bill Schmalfeldt Photoshop (Forgive Me) #Photoshop #BillSchmalfeldt

I have been putting in quite a few hours studying Photoshop tutorials on the web.  I have been using this program for maybe 15 years, learning a little here and there.  Finally I have been inspired to greatly extend my knowledge of this useful program.

So here is another Photoshop of Bill Schmalfeldt, this time making use of the filter at filter/other/highpass, hard light.  I also use layer pattern overlays to create texture, as well as filter/artistic/poster edges to get all those neat black spotty highlights.  Don't know why, just makes it look more "sketched."

Well I've had enough of Bill for awhile so will be in search of other material.

CHILL OUT BILL SCHMALFELDT! #Photoshop

I am continuing to explore digital effects for the purpose of doing comic strips.  Doing comics is fun and satire is a very effective weapon against idiocy and error.

I have again used Bill Schmalfeldt of Maryland as a subject, since the cartoonist at Kimberlinunmasked.com has used him, and I wanted to use Bill as a standard for comparison.  I created the Photoshop as a learning exercise, exploring the use of various filters and effects, and I may as well post it.

I don't know Bill Schmalfeldt, but he is a liberal writer and blogger who has greatly angered some conservatives, apparently by sending them a stream of twitter messages filled with anger, insulting comments and misstatements of fact.  Bill seems to have an inexhaustible supply of anger, and such anger seems unwarranted, self destructive and ill advised.  I have no animosity towards Bill; he, like I, is an older guy who likes to express himself on political issues.  However, I am puzzled by his degree of anger and by his behavior, especially towards a blogger named W.J.J. Hoge, who blogs at Hogewash.com.  Hoge obtained a "peace order" in a Maryland court last June, asking that Bill stop harrassing him with angry twitter mail and other communications.  Bill appealed the peace order and lost, and shortly thereafter started up sending the same stream of vitriol towards Hoge.  Hoge then served Bill with legal papers, an order to show cause as to why Bill should not be held in contempt of court for massive violation of the peace order.

This week a warrant for Bill's arrest was issued, then cancelled, then reinstated.  Bill may be sitting in a cell even as this is written.  I would ask Bill, if I could, "For God's sake, why, Bill?"  Bill could write as much as he wants, rant as much as he wants, tweet as much as he wants, and no one would really care, as long as he doesn't turn criticism into a personal vendetta against anyone.

If Bill doesn't stop this nonsense, one is tempted to conclude that he has some kind of mental problem.  Seek help, Bill.  Fifty milligrams of Zoloft a day, a cup of coffee and a good cigar are what work for me.

And here's my latest Photoshop of you, Bill.  Use it as you see fit, and everyone else can too.

BILL SCHMALFELDT, a #Photoshop

I have been admiring the comic depictions of Bill Schmalfeldt, liberal pundit (and serial harrasser) over at Kimberlin Unmasked.  I believe the artist achieves these excellent graphic effects using filters and layers in Photoshop.  I like the pixelated effects and the paper-like textures, resembling a comic book page.   I am experimenting to develop some of these effects on my own.  I'm not there yet, but am having fun trying.

Here is a photo of Bill Schmalfeldt, rendered into a comic book depiction, using Photoshop.  It was just for fun, but use it however you may wish.
