Google's Attack on Conservative News Sites - Alternatives to Google

Newsbusters today has an article titled "Is Google Purging Conservative News Sites?" (Hat tip to Little Green Footballs).

Apparently conservative sites like Michelle Malkin and Little Green Footballs have had difficulty getting picked up by the Google News crawl. More recently, the New Media Journal has been dropped from the news crawl for publishing anti-Islamic articles and opinions. However, New Media Journal is not the first site to be banned. A couple of other sites that posted articles on Islamic terrorism were also dropped for using "hate speech," Google's asinine liberal term that is more appropriate to moonbat university campuses.

This is blatant censorhip based on political beliefs, not on relevant news criteria. Google is attempting to "manage the news" on the internet the way the main stream media did it for years: by refusing to publish news that supported conservative viewpoints, no matter how pertinent.

Google's liberal bias is well known and documented. They have been described as a major ally to the Democratic Party and are a major funder of Moveon.org, the far left website where the hate-America crowd likes to hang out. Read the Newsbusters article for details. However, there is a way to fight back, and that is to use other search engines. This costs Google money!

"Religion of Pieces" (a reader) says that there is a list of politically incorrect search engines at http://www.therant.us/daily_columns/anti-google_search_engine_index.htm.

You can hurt Google where they live, in the pocketbook, by using other search engines. Try the list above for alternatives to Google.

Iffin' Google doan wath out, it will suffer fate of NBC,CBS, ABC....some t'other search engine will topple google's empire..or maybe...hmmn, an idea is brewin'...MAYbe we will soon have Conservative and moonbat search engines...the red and the blue engines, the real and the wishfull thinkin' engines...the rational or the emotive engines....

Truth will find its way to the surface.

Fun spot, Stogie...I'se enjoyed it.

Dude,
Neither CUANAS or IBA deserves a mention on your blogroll?

Pas, Pas, Pas! IBA has been on my blog roll since Day One. It's under "The Truth About Islam." I have now moved it closer to the top where it is more visible. I also added CUANAS. I read CUANAS often and have been meaning to add it, as well as Charles Martel, Always on Watch, Eyes All Around and several others. I have been very busy....okay, very lazy.

Talking about blogrolls, http://islamineurope.blogspot.com may be worth a look for an indication the shape of things to come.

It used to be said that whatever happens in America reaches Europe five years later. But with political correctness, multiculturalism and general moonbattery, the situation seems to be reversing.

Stogie,

Oh, I guess it has to be obvious for me to see it.

Sorry about that.

I, actually, knew that IBA had been on your blogroll previously. I thought you had forgotten us with your new look.

:)
