There comes a time in the history of a people when they must openly resist tyranny. As Thomas Jefferson put it, the tree of liberty must be periodically watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots. We may be approaching such a time, a time for a new Civil War.
The political trends are running in the direction of the Party of Treason, the Democrats, and the two front runners are both intent on forcing socialized medicine and socialism on the people of the United States. If they succeed in doing so, we should actively resist and refuse to go along.
What form should this resistance take? For starters we should disobey the illegal and unconstitutional laws that are enacted upon us. Doctors should ignore the new socialized medical laws that will make them employees of the state. They should continue to practice medicine as before and refuse to go along with the new program. We the people should openly support them in this regard and individual states should readopt the policy of nullification that existed in this country 150 years ago, i.e. they should declare null and void any unconstitutional law enacted by the Federal Government and of no effect in their individual states. Federal judges who attempt to impose these laws in our states should be escorted out of the state at the tip of a bayonet.
Equally unnerving is that the Republican front runner is John McCain, who is actually a Democrat in his beliefs and voting record. No matter how you slice it, we will wind up with a socialist/appeaser/border-erasing President in 2009, a tax 'em till they bleed President who will wreck our economy, lose the war on radical Islam and turn this nation into a third world style banana republic despotism.
The question we should be asking ourselves is this: how do we resist the new tyranny about to be imposed upon us?
There are ways to resist that do not include violence. That resistance may take the form of passive aggression, a refusal to go along with the program. Or it may take a new unity of Red states and ultimately, if there is no other way, secession.
