Mr. Whittle says it exactly like it is - whoa! And he lives in Los Angeles, double whoa!
But I doubt many Californians will understand his reference to WWI and WWII - if it happened before they were born, they loose interest.
Atikva, yes, many young Americans live in a bubble, totally unaware of history. No wonder they vote for guys like Obama.
It's going to be built there unless the city government refuses to allow the building permit to be issued.
They are not planning to put it there for the hell of it, it is a deliberate affront to the entire United States, especially the families of those whose lives were lost there. No amount of asking them or saying we don't like it will change anything.
On the other hand, after it is built, the rooftops overlooking it may become popular......
daeuco, you are correct. Islam is a very "in your face" religion that delights in taunting and insulting "infidels." See any of the many images of them protesting or praying in the middle of busy avenues in Europe.
The Ha-Mosque (as Rush calls it) is being placed at that site to celebrate the murder of 3,000 Americans. It is not being put there for any charitable or peaceful purpose. It is a way of dancing on our graves.
