|"These Idiots Don't Deserve Me"|
Now President Obama and the leftists in Congress have approved another radical leftist to be a Supreme Court judge, Ellen Kagan, who has zero judicial experience. However, what she lacks in actual knowledge of the Constitution, she makes up for in Marxist ideology. The "checks and balances" of our system of government has been, in my opinion, effectively neutered. Now the Supreme Court will not reign in a runaway congress from passing radical bills; they will instead pass those bills themselves (by fiat, through erroneous court decisions) if the congressional versions aren't radical enough.
America is effectively dead, but can she come back with the November elections? Can her mangled body survive until the presidential elections of 2012? Who knows. At this point, should I really care? America's convalescence from Obama's Marxist poison will be slow and extend well past my lifetime, if she recovers at all. My life, I fear, is doomed to misery from here on out, and that misery is directly traceable to Democrat (another name for Marxist) policies.
I want revolution. I want to see a liberal hanging from every street lamp and telephone pole. I want a coup d'etat, with army tanks all over the White House lawn and Obama frog-marched out to his own trial for treason by military commission. Oh, but that wouldn't be democratic! No, but it sure would be satisfying.
Okay, the above rant was my version of H.L. Mencken's "Black Flag" quote: Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit upon his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats. I am having a "Black Flag" moment. It will pass.
A more peaceful solution probably exists, though not nearly as much fun. It is time to seriously consider secession and the division of the country. I do not want to be a citizen of the same country with Democrats. They have effectively ended the American experiment and it is past time to deal with that reality. Our Constitution can no longer protect us. Now here is my own version of an H.L. Mencken quote:
Once a significant number of the people no longer voluntarily abide by the Constitution, it is dead. That significant number is called "the Democratic Party."
