Strange Things Are Happening....Donald Douglas Annoyed by Leftwing Blogger

Donald Douglas, a friend of mine, seems very upset these days by a blogger named Walter James Casper III, who also goes by the pseudonym Respac3 and blogs at American Nihilist.

Donald seems exasperated, outraged and frantic over Casper's critical comments of Donald and his blog, American Power.  I can see why he might be upset...Casper's blog seems to be one continuous rant against Donald Douglas.  Casper seems obsessed with Donald, and is in fact, cyber-stalking him.  Casper rarely writes about anything but Donald Douglas.

Donald is now adamantly claiming that he will get the FBI involved to get Casper to cease his online harrassment, quoting federal laws governing the internet.

One thing is apparent.  Casper has won.

Donald has allowed this individual to get under his skin in a very big way.  All Casper has to do now is make any small remark and Donald has a mental breakdown...or so it seems.

Donald, there is much truth to the saying "Don't feed the trolls."  You have been serving Casper a 16 oz steak on a daily basis.  You have rewarded his efforts.  Stop commenting about Respac3 aka Walter James Casper III.  Stop reacting to him.  Stop referring to him as "hate blogger Walter James Casper III."  Is he a hate blogger?  Who knows?  Who cares, but why give him such a fearsome reputation?

Frankly, I never heard of WJC III or his pseudonym, Respac3, until I read about them at American Power.  So stop advertising for him, Donald.

And puh-leeze, don't use the Confederate flag to symbolize racial hatred.  That flag is a sacred heritage symbol to many, me included.

Los Angeles Times Poll (Showing Brown Blow-Out) Oversampled Latinos

Ah, the games you can play with polls.  The leftist Los Angeles Times released a poll yesterday showing Jerry Brown with a double-digit lead over Meg Whitman in the race for governor of California.  Other polls, however, released at the same time, show the race much closer than that.  Oversampling of Democrats or Republicans can give a biased poll result, one that does not represent the actual state of the electorate.  The LA Times poll oversampled latinos and obtained the desired skewed result, no doubt to encourage a larger Democrat turnout on November 2nd.

Glenn Beck's "Restoring Honor" Rally Was Huge

New Stogie Photoshop at American Power

Yesterday I received an email from my friend Donald Douglas at American Power, requesting a Photoshop of one of his blogosphere opponents, a "libertarian socialist" named James B Webb, who runs a blog called "Brain Rage" (well he's half right, about the rage part).  His post on Easter is especially disgusting, so be forewarned.

Webb is proud of his support for Obama (he "was for Obama before it was cool to be for Obama").  His site bears a quote from Sinclair Lewis that says "WHEN FASCISM COMES TO AMERICA IT WILL BE WRAPPED IN THE FLAG AND CARRYING A CROSS."

Apparently, Webb doesn't have much to write about so "Brain Rage" has become a shadow blog of American Power.  Webb waits for Donald Douglas to post something, then ridicules both the post and Donald.  Personally, I wouldn't bother with Webb, but Donald loves to fight with these people.

The original photograph has disappeared from "Brain Rage," possibly to reduce the impact of my Photoshop.  (It always means more if you can compare the original to the Photoshop).

Jimmy B. Webb: What's a Libertarian-Socialist?

My friend Donald Douglas at American Power is having a blogfight with Jimmy Webb over at Brainrage. Jimmy insists that he be called "James B. Webb" but calls Professor Douglas "Don."

Jimmy says he is a "cynical libertarian-socialist." The terms "libertarian" and "socialist" seem to be mutually exclusive, but then again, this is the looney Left we are talking about, where all things are possible, including economic perpetual motion, otherwise known as socialism. Socialism has never been made to work, but Jimmy and friends are right on the verge of making it happen. Any century now.

So again I ask, what is a "libertarian-socialist"? I think I have found some possible definitions.

A libertarian-socialist is:

1. Someone who wants to be free to pick your pocket.
2. Someone who wants to live a destructive and dangerous lifestyle yet be free of criticism or consequences.
3. Someone who calls you a fascist for opposing "progressive" fascism.
4. Someone who wants to redistribute the wealth, i.e. from you to them.

Well that's a start. Feel free to add to the list.

Texas Fred Agrees With Murtha and Pelosi: Opposed the War In Iraq

My friends at American Power referred me to their previous blog (now inactive) called Burkean Reflections where they too had a run-in with "Texas Fred."

It seems Texas Fred opposed the Iraq War and also the surge and used a lot of leftwing polemics to defend his positions. If Fred is a conservative, I'll eat my next cigar.

Here's some of the posts that show Texas Fred's true sentiments:

In that piece, Texas Fred resorts to the Leftist "Chicken Hawk" defense. He says:

Don, how many years did you spend in uniform?? Leading men in combat?? Leading your own Intel unit?? Acting as liaison between civilian Intel agencies and the Corps?? How many Purple Hearts do YOU have?? How many other decorations did YOU earn Don??What was you rank at retirement?? What's your percentage of disability now that you're fully retired form those injuries?? Does that PhD reflect anything even remotely connected to War College??Let me tell you something your 'Mother Superior', I have earned the right to voice MY opinion, as have you, but I am of serious belief that if YOU are as learned as you would claim, you skipped class the day they had the course in 'common sense', if you think I am a liberal, you are really not very well grounded in anything other than Bush Bot politics...

Bush Bot politics?? Yeah, Fred, you really sound like a conservative. Professor Douglas responds:

I do see, though, that you've left your blog's URL, and I'll check to see all the high-powered military strategy and tactics you're spouting over there -- hopefully it'll be more than the same old "no more Vietnams" rehash...Perhaps you're not liberal, as you say, but you do have the Murtha/Pelosi talking points down.

Professor Douglas finally decided Texas Fred wasn't worth the trouble and wrote:

It's simply impossible to have a rational, policy-related discussion with someone of Texas Fred's low-caliber intellect. No matter how reasoned an argument I might have put forward, Texas Fred would have popped back up -- like a "whack-a-mole" game -- with more of his gonad-driven attacks on my "inexistent credentials," or what not.

I could have given old Freddie a paddling in a real policy-related dialogue on U.S military policy and strategy. His lily-livered fake machismo just wasn't worth the effort.

Note, also that I suggested in my comments that I'd check out his blog to see "what high-powered military strategy and tactics he was spouting" over there. Well, I did mosey on over to old Freddie's page, but I found very few posts on military or strategic studies. I did find some of Freddie's supremely ill-considered ruminations on immigration policy: In response to one of his commentators, who called for illegal alien second-offenders to be SOS (Shot on Sight), Fred said: How do you determine if they are 2nd time offenders?? Just shoot the bastards and be done with it…

Brilliant! All of you members of "Reject the U.N." should now have a better idea of whom you are in bed with. Like my old Texas pappy used to say, "If you lie down with dogs you're gonna come up with fleas."
