Roy Moore, who is running for office in Alabama as a US Senator, has been attacked late in the game with accusations of sexual improprieties. Improprieties of 40 years ago. Through all those 40 years of serving as a judge and office holder in Alabama, these charges never came up, were never alleged, were never discussed. Why now?
"Why now" is because the dirty Democrats are desperate for political wins. That despicable Party has never been more unpopular with the American people. So up pops the Washington Post with a propaganda coup against Moore, at the last moment, when it is too late to run someone else or remove Moore's name from the ballot.
The Washington Post has used this dirty tactic before, against Arnold Schwarzenegger in California, against Herman Cain, against Donald Trump. The smear is always late in the game and targeted at Christian and Evangelical voters, to keep many away from the polls. The tactic will also cause the cancellation of prior endorsements and the drying up of donations needed for advertising and other costs. All because of a he said - she said scenario that is unprovable after 40 years.
Don't fall for it.
If the dirty Dems can suppress enough of the conservative vote, their socialist candidate may be able to sneak in.
Moore is accused by one woman of dating her when she was 14. Moore denies it. Another four women claim Moore tried to date them when they were 16 and 17 -- however, the age of consent in Alabama is 16, so even if true, Moore broke no laws and the related morality or immorality is entirely subjective.
Having doubts about Roy Moore? Forget them and vote for him anyway. If Virtue Signalling is needed, the RINOs and establishment Republicans will supply it. You don't have to.

The Delusional, Dangerous Left
![]() |
| Leftist Slander of President Trump |
Meanwhile, fake turncoat Republicans like John McCain are lending their voices in support, while despicable Democrats like Maxine Waters and Al Green publicly call for impeachment of Trump -- for what? He has committed no "high crimes and misdemeanors."
The Dims have long practiced the "politics of personal destruction," ruining reputations with falsehood, innuendo and rumor. Even though their target may be completely innocent, the idea is to create enough doubt in the minds of voters to give the Dimocrat candidates the edge. Other observers have called the current Democrat pogrom a "soft coup d'etat." The Democrats seek to ruin a president based on slanderous fabrications. I almost wish for a new Civil War.
*****
This is similar to the recent unhinged attacks on Confederate monuments in New Orleans, where the monuments are described as "monuments to white supremacy and oppression." Any who support the monuments are, of course, "racists." The baby-faced, bald Marxist Mayor Mitch Landrieu has been removing these monuments in the face of strong opposition, even sending workers in bullet proof vests, helmets and masks, to dismantle the monuments. This, while a SWAT team overlooks the destruction with loaded rifles. A more blatant example of leftist fascism is hard to imagine -- crushing the will of the people by brute force, and with total disregard to their feelings or opinions.

Innuendo: The Democrat Campaign of Soft Slander
When the Democrats are out of power, they resort to a pervasive campaign of soft slander of Republicans. This effort generally doesn't accuse any Republican of specific dishonorable acts, it merely implies unsavory connections. This is soft slander, or innuendo. Innuendo is defined as an indirect intimation about a person or thing, especially of a disparaging or a derogatory nature.
The idea is for the public to hear the innuendo, and put two and two together to get five. Let's consider some recent examples.
1. Lena Dunham, a leftist feminist, actress, screenwriter and producer wrote her autobiography, Not That Kind of Girl. In her book, she claims she was raped while an undergraduate at Oberlin College. Her alleged assailant was the lone campus Republican.
What is the connection between rape and Republicans? There is none, but the implication is that Republicans are scumbags, prone to rape and abuse of women...as in the Democrat propaganda meme, the Republican War on Women. Republicans have researched Dunham's claim, and have concluded that she had consensual sex with a Democrat. Dunham merely lied about the encounter being non-consensual, and lied about her partner's political affiliation -- all to portray herself as a victim and add spice and marketability to her book.
2. Steve Scalise, the House Republican Majority Whip, has been "exposed" as a speaker at a white supremacist conference held in 2002. The conference was organized by a David Duke ally, one Kenneth Knight. Therefore, the Democrat media wants you to believe that Scalise is a white supremacist (whatever that is) and a Neo-Nazi. Newsbusters summarizes the implications of these charges:
A writer at the liberal website Salon, however, sheds important light on this manufactured controversy. The hotel conference room where Scalise spoke was not the room reserved for the "white supremacist" group (known as EURO), and the speakers therein spoke on common areas of civic interest. Scalise spoke on political issues (taxes, not related to race), a Red Cross spokesman spoke on CPR techniques, and a Sheriff's representative spoke on the Neighborhood Watch program.
However, since these talks were given before the EURO conference began, some members of the EURO conference came into the room to listen to the speeches, all of which were unrelated to their conference or political beliefs. Read more about it here.
Scalise is guilty of nothing. However, the negative impression has now entered the mainstream media and the public consciousness, where it will germinate negative inferences in the minds of voters.
The Democrat Slander Machine is in full operation, and will poison the well of public opinion with one drop of arsenic at a time. They are despicable.

Newsbusters summarizes the implications of these charges:
Scalise is facing calls for his resignation of his GOP leadership position from the editorial boards of USA Today and the Chicago Tribune, and the scandal about his longtime ties to Duke and Duke’s circles has rocked Scalise, putting his entire political career in jeopardy. However, Steve Scalise is neither a David Duke supporter, nor a white supremacist, nor a Neo-Nazi. It has not been demonstrated that Scalise has any "longtime ties to Duke and Duke's circles." The Democrat attempt to paint him as such is another incident of "the politics of personal destruction," a nefarious political program that Democrat strategists have turned into a fine art.
A writer at the liberal website Salon, however, sheds important light on this manufactured controversy. Herman Cain Seen As Serious Threat to Bolshevik Democrats
Herman Cain is being seen as a serious candidate for the Republican nomination. For that reason, he has become a target of the Democrat smear merchants. The idea behind these "politics of personal destruction" is to plant seeds of doubt in voters' minds, to tarnish a candidate's otherwise sterling reputation. It is very dirty pool, but it's the way the Democrats roll. They are completely ruthless in their quest for power.
I do not believe that Herman Cain "sexually harrassed" anyone, but what if he did?
I could care less if he played grab-ass with the whole steno pool. I'm voting for the man anyway.
It appears the slander was started by Politico, a left wing website pretending to be an objective news source. I had their number many months ago. See here and here.

Moving On
![]() |
| Paul Krugman of the New York Times: Author of the Blood-Libel Against Conservatives |
The Left is more than ruthless, they are evil. They seek to rule, not by persuasion or honest debate, but by any means necessary. They revel in slander, character assassination and violence. They are steeped in hatred for all who oppose them. They seek to create and hold a monopoly on news media and editorial opinion; they support voter fraud and stolen elections; they prosecute political opponents on trumped-up charges in kangaroo courts. They have raised "the politics of personal destruction" to a high art form. Fairness, civility and common decency are unknown to them. I do not see the American Left as fellow citizens, I see them as sworn enemies for whom I feel little or no commonality or fraternity.
The Left has, however, finally convinced me of the truth of one of their key precepts: Politics is war by other means. They proved that in their orgy of hate and slander following the Arizona shootings. I shall not forget again.

Must-Read Article on NRO: "I Still Hate You, Sarah Palin"
David Kahane assumes the viewpoint of a leftist in his article, "We Still Hate You, Sarah Palin," posted at National Review Online.Read the whole thing.
He writes:
Not only were we offended at the sheer effrontery of McCain’s pick: How dare the Republicans proffer this déclassée piece of Wasilla trailer trash whose only claim to fame was that she didn’t exercise her right to choose? And so the word went out, from that time and place: Eviscerate Sarah Palin like one of her field-dressed moose. Turn her life upside down. Attack her politics, her background, her educational history. Attack her family. Make fun of her husband, her children.
Mark Belling, filling in for Rush Limbaugh today, read the whole thing on the air. Belling is a good man. He asserts that we as Republicans must stop being fatally nice and start fighting back.
Sarah Palin as Blood Sport
The Arkansas Republicans (ARRA News Service) has a good post by Gary Bauer on Democrats practicing the Politics of Personal Destruction, or as Sarah Palin put it, "Blood Sport."
