Zombie is the sobriquet of a photojournalist in San Francisco who shows up at leftwing and moonbat events and takes photos. Zombie then posts the photos on her website at www.zombietime.com.Zombie's actual gender is unknown, but from recent posts at Little Green Footballs, I have the impression that Zombie is a lady rather than a man. In any case, Zombie is a local conservative hero to the blogosphere. She (he?) shows up at peace demonstrations, San Quentin executions and events featuring Democratic candidates and takes interesting photos.
Last week Zombie got wind of a largely unpublicized visit by Barack Obama to a fundraiser hosted by the super rich of San Francisco society. Zombie figured out where Obama would be and showed up to take pictures of the multimillionaires who drove up to the Getty mansion to attend. Zombie got some great pictures, including some close-ups of Obama. Zombie then broke the story of Obama's big gaffe in describing the not-so-rich voters of Pennsylvania as "bitter."

Brian Sussman of KSFO talk radio discussed Zombie's photos on his evening radio show today. I listened to him through my computer, viewing the pictures on Zombie's site as they were discussed. Talk about a real-time, multimedia discussion of the event! Pretty cool.
