Obama's Pastor Jeremiah Wright Praises Marxism in New Video

Accuracy In Media has uncovered a new, controversial video of Obama's pastor, Jeremiah Wright.  AIM writes:
A new video of Jeremiah Wright has surfaced [created on Sept 17, 2009], showing Barack Obama's pastor of 20 years praising Marxism and discussing his ties to communists in El Salvador and Nicaragua and the Libyan government.
The occasion of Wright's speech was the anniversary celebration of a socialist magazine, Monthly Review.

Sarah Palin Tells Joe Biden He's Wrong on Domestic Drilling

Sarah Palin not only tells Biden why he's wrong on domestic drilling, she smacks him in the face with Doug Hoffman!  From her Facebook page only an hour ago:
Response to Vice President Biden's Comments Today About My Position On Energy Independence
Today at 10:12am
As the vice president knows, I have always advocated an all-of-the-above approach to American energy independence. Among other things, my alternative energy goal for Alaska sits at 50 percent because Alaska reached more than 20 percent during my term in office. The Obama-Biden administration, on the other hand, recently announced a renewable goal of only 25 percent. However, domestic drilling should remain a top priority in order to meet America’s consumption and security needs.
The vice president’s extreme opposition to domestic energy development goes all the way back to 1973 when he opposed the Alaska pipeline bill. As Ann Coulter pointed out, “Biden cast one of only five votes against the pipeline that has produced more than 15 billion barrels of oil, supplied nearly 20 percent of this nation’s oil, created tens of thousands of jobs, added hundreds of billions of dollars to the U.S. economy and reduced money transfers to the nation’s enemies by about the same amount.”
This nonsensical opposition to American domestic energy development continues to this day. Apparently the Obama-Biden administration only approves of offshore drilling in Brazil, where it will provide security and jobs for Brazilians. This election is about American security and American jobs.
There’s one way to tell Vice President Biden that we’re tired of folks in Washington distorting our message and hampering our nation’s progress: Hoffman, Baby, Hoffman!

Will Corzine Steal the Election in New Jersey?

Democrats steal elections in a number of ways.  They "find" ballot boxes stuffed with votes for Democrats, as they did in Washington State a few years back when their gubernatorial candidate came up a few votes short.  (The "found" ballot boxes were more than enough to push the Democrat into the winning column.)

In the Presidential election of 1960, voter fraud occurred in certain states and Kennedy was elected in a close vote.  A lot of the votes were from dead Democrats.  Nixon did not demand a recount.

In 2000, Al Gore tried desperately to transmogrify his electoral defeat into a victory with various vote recount and "reinterpretation" schemes involving hanging chads and perceived voter intent.  He failed.

Recently Al Franken was able to turn his electoral defeat in Minnesota into a win through the same recounting and reinterpretation of the ballots cast.

ACORN is a Democrat group of community organizers who are famous for registering voters...and reregistering the same voters, under different names, again and again.

The election Tuesday (between New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine and Republican challenger Chris Christie) is going to be close.  If so, you can count on the same Democrat election stealing techniques to be used to turn the result on its head.

That's what Big Government thinks, and I agree.  Read it all here.

Hollywood to Whitewash Bloody Career of the Prophet Muhammad

Movie producer Barrie Osborne, who helped produce the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, plans to make a film about the life of the Muslim Prophet Muhammad.  According to the UK Guardian:
Budgeted at around $150m (£91.5m), the film will chart Muhammad's life and examine his teachings. Osborne told Reuters that he envisages it as "an international epic production aimed at bridging cultures. The film will educate people about the true meaning of Islam." [True meaning? As in mass murder, robbery, rape, intolerance, hatred and oppression?]
"The film will shed light on the Prophet's life since before his birth to his death," Ahmed Abdullah Al-Mustafa, Alnoor's chairman, told al-Jazeera. "It will highlight the humanity of Prophet Muhammad." [Yes, it takes a very humane man to whack the heads off hundreds of defenseless prisoners and then rape their widows.]
I wonder if the film will show Muhammad beheading the 800 Qurayza Jews and the mass rape of their widows and daughters that followed.  Or the torture and beheading of the Jew Kinana and the subsequent rape of his widow?  Probably not.  Only Hollyweird can take someone as EVIL as Muhammad and turn him into a hero.

Christie Pulls Ahead in New Jersey

Republican Chris Christie has pulled ahead of Democrat Jon Corzine in the New Jersey race for governor, according to the most recent Public Policy Poll (PPP).  Christie is up by 6 and leads Corzine 47 - 41%, with independent candidate Chris Daggett at 11%.  Daggett's supporters appear to be breaking for Christie.

PPP also shows Republican Doug Hoffman leading Democrat Bill Owens by a comfortable margin in the New York District 23 congressional election, 54 - 38%.  However, with a special election and an expected low turnout, anything can happen, particularly in light of dramatic developments in the last four days of the campaign.

Republican gubernatorial candidate Bob McDonnell has a double digits lead over Democrat R. Creigh Deeds in Virginia and is expected to win.

With any luck we will have a trifecta on Tuesday -- all three races could be won by Republicans, sending a clear message to the Obama administration as well as the RNC.

Early Polling Shows Doug Hoffman Leading Bill Owens in NY-23

The pollsters say the situation in NY-23 is a mess with all of the unexpected changes of late.  However, they do say that Hoffman now leads Owens by 19 points in the race.  However, these polling numbers are unweighted and that could affect their accuracy.  Scozzafava's endorsement of Owens shaved Hoffman's lead a bit.  Nevertheless, the PPP Pollsters "still expect Hoffman to win easily."

It appears that further polls on this race may be useless.  The last and most meaningful poll will be taken Tuesday and we should have the results by Tuesday evening.

GOP's Hand-Picked Candidate for NY-23 is a DEMOCRAT

Today Dede Scozzafava, Newt's hand-picked candidate for New York's 23rd congressional district, formally endorsed the Democrat in the race, Bill Owens.  Her husband did so earlier.

Scozzafava dropped out yesterday when polls showed her support tanking.  Instead of throwing her support to the conservative candidate, she chose to throw it instead to the Democratic candidate.

Scozzafava was a pro-abortion supporter of bail-outs and other Democrat policies. If there was anything "Republican" about her, it wasn't obvious.  Now she has shown her true political colors.  Dan Riehl at Riehl World View is reporting that Scozzafava is now doing robo calls for Bill Owens.

This is the "Republican" the National Republican Party would have stuck us with.

If you missed it on television, here's a link where you can watch Fox News's interview of Rush Limbaugh this morning.  Limbaugh is very critical of President Obama, calling him "a threat to liberty."

Political Races to Watch on Tuesday

There are three political races that conservatives are watching closely.  They will be decided by the vote this coming Tuesday, November 3rd.  They are:

NY 23rd Congressional Election - The grassroots of the GOP (the conservatives) rejected the liberal candidate that the Party officially endorsed, i.e. Dede Scozzafava.  They instead supported Doug Hoffman, a conservative Republican who is running on the Conservative Party ticket.  Polls showed Hoffman in the lead between the three candidates, which included Bill Owens, the Democrat.  Then Scozzfava dropped out.  Most pundits say this is a good thing for the conservatives and Republicans, because now Hoffman is expected to win handily.  Let's hope so.  If Hoffman wins it will send a clear message to the Republican Party leaders:  NO MORE RINOS.  We want Republican candidates who are true to Republican principles, not rehashed liberals and Democrat-lite, me-too Republicans-In-Name-Only.

Update:  Dan Riehl of Riehl World View tells just how leftwing Scozzafava actually is:  both she and her husband are now supporting Democrat Bill Owens.  Scozzafava's husband is a labor union leader and a dogmatic Democrat.  This is the kind of candidate the New Gingrichs of thw world would foist on us.

New Jersey Gubernatorial Election - Republican Chris Christie is challenging Democrat Governor Jon Corzine in the latter's reelection bid.  Polls show the race to be a dead heat, with Christie at 43% and Corzine at 42%, i.e. too close to call.  An independent third candidate, Dagget, has been dropping in the polls and his supporters appear to be migrating to Christie.  Barack Obama is going to appear in New Jersey to try and drum up support for Corzine; however, this could backfire with Obama's own support plummeting.

If the race is close, conservatives worry about another ACORN style vote-theft or suspicious recounts, like those that elected Al Franken.  A clear victory by Christie would be a boon to the GOP and further evidence of a Republican resurgence.

See also Another Black Conservative's report on a Christie rally that he attended.

Virginia Gubernatorial Election - Republican Bob McDonnell is battling Democrat R. Creigh Deeds for the governorship of Virginia.  McDonnell leads in the polls and is expected to win.  Virginia has been in Democratic hands for the past eight years.

Project Valour-IT: Lap Tops for Wounded Servicemen

Carol at No Sheeples Here is supporting this worthy cause, of buying laptops for wounded servicemen.  She writes:

Project Valour-IT raises money for laptop computers with voice-activated software for soldiers whose injuries have cost them the use of their hands or who have received traumatic brain injuries for fighting for our freedom.
The money raised also will buy Wii™ game consoles and games to be used at Veteran’s Administration rehab facilities. Because Wii™ games use the entire body and are fun, they motivate soldiers to learn the new skills they need to replace the abilities they have lost.
