Rand Paul Is An ASS

This week Rand Paul, loony son of even loonier father Ron Paul, stated that his party, the Republicans, have been wrong on foreign policy for the past fifty years.  He also stated that the USA created ISIS with our policies.  Paul, whom I shall now refer to as "Wrong Rand," is a paleolibertarian, a strange blend of far right and far left politics.  I have always viewed paleos as political schizophrenics.  On foreign policy they agree with the far left Democrats, who believe our only foreign policy is to never intervene, and when we are attacked, to blame ourselves for "blowback," i.e., some ancient wrong we committed against our innocent enemies that caused simmering hostility toward us, finally exploding into violence.  We should humbly admit our sins, and apologize to our attackers for forcing them to attack us in the first place.

Screw you Rand Paul.  It'll be a cold day in Hell before I ever vote for you, in the primaries or even the general election should you make it that far.

I was afraid when Rand first burst onto the scene that he may have inherited his father's wackadoo foreign policy. I hate being right!

Actually this is Rand's sanest pronouncement in awhile, what he's trying to say, even as inelegantly as it came out, is that we should have left Saddam Hussein alone and we should have never bothered Basher Assad. ISIS only rose out of the power vacuum we created by toppling Saddam and weakening Assad.

If you want to go after Rand Paul for anything, it's his immigration treachery and his black pandering.

Islam created ISIS. However, you are right about Paul's immigration policy and black pandering. Colin Flaherty describes him as the dumbest man in America regarding black dysfunction and crime.

So we should support secular despots? In any case, hindsight is always 20-20. Yes, Saddam Hussein was preferable to ISIS. However, it's a stretch to say our (the GOP's) foreign policy created ISIS. Our early abandonment of Iraq certainly created a power vacuum, but that was a Democrat cut-and-run policy, not that of the GOP. Rand saying that the GOP's foreign policy has been "wrong for the last 50 years" is just total bullshit. Containing the Soviet Union? What's this ass cracker talking about?

Never trust a libertarian. They live in a dream world.
