This Memorial Day, I noticed fewer flags displayed from houses in Northern Virginia. What a contrast to just a few years ago! I wonder how few flags will be displayed on 9/11/2013.
I find myself hoping those fallen heroes did not die in vain. Surely they didn't die to "transform America" into some college sophomore's vision of a socialist utopia. I only hope fewer and fewer will die in the Middle East and that we will get out of that hellhole as soon as possible.
