Democrats' Latest Meme: "Romney is a Great Actor!"

This morning Rush played several soundbites of Democrat pundits, trying to spin away Obama's dismal debate performance.

The latest Democrat stratagem is to paint Romney as a cunning poser and pretender, denying at the debate all of the "evil capitalist" stereotypes assigned him by the liberal spin machine.  His debate performance is being described as "a great dramatic performance."  This description is particularly offensive, inasmuch as Romney seemed quite sincere, real and gentlemanly during the debate.

Some Democrat pundits are saying that Romney out and out lied about his real positions and beliefs, and that Obama was taken aback by this onslaught of falsehood, and so shocked by it that he was thrown off his game.  However, next time Obama will be ready for these Romney lies and misrepresentations of his "true" beliefs and policies.

So far I have not seen any list of Romney's alleged policy misrepresentations that were made at the debate.  I  doubt that any such  list exists.

What this latest meme proves is this:  the Democrats are false, phony, lying propagandists, experts at spin and misdirection, masters of illusion.  They can only win if they can make the public believe in falsehoods; they cannot win by being honest and truthful.  They do not defend themselves with facts and arguments, but by plotting and creating yet a new illusion, a new spin, a new false impression.  Demagogic propaganda is all they've got.

To me, the word "Democrat" is synonymous with "liar."

Poor Obama, the Wrong Mitt Romney Showed Up at the Debate! (Photoshop)

The Democrats are angry today.  Their guy lost the presidential debate, mainly because Mitt Romney refused to play his assigned role as Greedy Capitalist Warmonger.  Instead of the fanged blood-sucker they pictured, a very human, very nice gentleman showed up and politely wiped the floor with Barack Obama.  But he did it respectfully, mind you.

Today the Democrat team is saying Romney lied about what his true presidential goals are, that he really does want to lower taxes by five trillion dollars for the wealthiest while raising it on the middle class, return black people to slavery and turn seniors into soylent green.  And how he hid his fangs, they don't know but intend to find out.  Dentures, maybe?

We used to have a saying back in high school, reserved for posers and role-players:  "He's beginning to believe his own bull shit."  Yes, Barack Obama and his campaign team have reached that point.  They are beginning to believe their own B.S. and are quite impatient with Romney for refusing to go along.

Prior Democrat Slanders

Here are some of my previous posts on the Democrat smear machine:

1.  On Right-Wing "Hate":  Don't Take the Democrat Bait -- The leftist website Moveon.org held a rally to "condemn the hate."  Except that there was no "hate" to condemn.  I described why:

MoveOn.org's gambit is not to "condemn the hate," but to insinuate into the public mind that conservatives are dangerous crazies who are boiling with rage, ready to go postal at any minute. The falling popularity of Democrats and the success of the Tea Parties are not the result of widespread opposition to Obama's radical policies. No, they are the result of some baseless and inexplicable "hate."

When Democrat pundits and reporters ask GOP and Tea Party leaders to "condemn the hate," they are really asking for a tacit admission that the charge is true, that "hate" is a major problem on the Right. Conservatives cannot and should not give credence to the false charge. They must not become unwilling stooges in the Left's bogus drama.

2.  Rush Limbaugh slandered with false "racist" quotes -- This one is a good example of how reckless and ruthless the Democrats are with (1) the reputations of other people and (2) the truth.

3.  Democratic Underground Encourages Smear of Palin's Baby -- This one is particularly revealing of the Democrat mindset about using smear to win political fights.  A Democrat writer wrote:

The modern laws of media hype and political warfare have a useful tenet:
Repeat ANYTHING or raise false concern over ANYTHING and it is likely to be planted in the conscious/subconscious of many voters.

If people start to think that there might be something fishy with Palin's last kid (if hers), then that's FINE. One more doubt (whether tied to reality or not) is another hesitation at the ballot box.

GET WITH THE PROGRAM PEOPLE. The "rising above it" bullshit has served us so well in the past, hasn't it?

If you have problems with the story, then STFU and get out of the way of Dems who are engaged in MODERN POLITICAL WARFARE. Go tend your garden or some other pedestrian task, because the "concern trolls" are not helping shape the message.

4.  John Patrick Bedell: So Much in Common with Me! The Wing Nut Connection?  - A nut named John Patrick Bedell walked up to two police officers at an entrance to the Pentagon, drew a pistol and opened fire. He wounded the two police officers but they killed him with return fire. Then the mainstream media tried to connect Bedell with the Tea Party movement and/or "right wing extremists." Bedell, however, was a liberal.

5. Thoughts on the Great DC Tea Party of 9/11/2009 - This post is a good example of the various prior attempts by the Democrats to slander Republicans and conservatives.

6.  The Left's Tactics Against Sarah Palin Explained.  Why does the Left always attack Sarah Palin first?  The reason comes from Saul Alinksky's "Rules for Radicals" #13.

7. How the Left Punishes Conservatives -- A concerted program of hate and slander over a long period of time can wear down one's will to resist the forces of liberalism.  Some examples are given.  I like my conclusions:   Democrats believe that "politics is war by other means." And they are at war with America, with common sense and even common decency. Those who would mount an effective opposition had better have a high tolerance for slime, slander and abuse.

8.  Revolt and Reaction:  the Tax Day Tea Parties -- Janet Napolitano of Homeland Security released a politicized report disingenuously warning of "right wing extremism," i.e., anyone who opposed Obama's radical policies.

I notice a lot of site searching going on at Saber Point.  A lot of people are looking hard to find examples of "right wing hate" and vitriol.  They aren't finding much.

Raucous Townhall Meetings - Angry Citizens or Agents Provocateurs?

The Democrats have been having "Town Hall" meetings all over the country to solicit support for their socialized health care plan and answer questions from citizens. However, they have been encountering angry citizens and raucous crowds at a number of locations. Democrat speakers are being laughed at and booed by the crowds.

The reason for the angry crowds is that there is a growing number of citizens who are opposed to nationalized health care and other Democrat boondoggles, like Cap and Trade and the no-stimulus Stimulus. However, the Dems want the public to believe that the angry citizens are really Republican "agents provocateurs" -- organized demonstrators, a "Rent-A-Mob" put up to it by their Right Wing masters. The Dems point to such telltale signs as the clothing and grooming of the protestors -- they wear nice clothes and have haircuts, so they must be Republicans.

It isn't true but the Democrats want you to think it is. After all, REAL citizens wouldn't protest crushing taxation, soaring energy prices, the loss of millions of jobs and Health Care Bureaucracy...would they?

This is merely Democrat spin control and misdirection -- they always try to turn a controvery around and point it away from themselves. Angry mobs at public meetings don't mean their popularity with the electorate is plummeting; it means that the opposition is resorting to dirty tactics. Maybe when there are long bread lines in major cities the Dems will claim the down-and-out are Republican plants.
