Lesson of San Jose: Time to Deport the Illegals

In my former hometown of San Jose yesterday, illegal aliens (aka "wetbacks") and their leftist supporters attacked Trump fans.  Trump voters were punched, or had rocks or eggs thrown at them.  I wasn't there, and it's probably great that I wasn't.  If ever we needed free carry of firearms, now is the time.  The illegals have gotten way out of hand, as happens in a "sanctuary city" where U.S. immigration laws are deliberately unenforced.  The illegal scum have an enormous sense of entitlement, and why not?  Jerry Brown and his democratic fascist followers have made it easy for illegals to vote in this state.  They can sign up when they get their California drivers license.

Liberal politicians are a kind of acid that is slowly dissolving our country.  Yes, I am voting for Trump.  The condition of the country is increasingly desperate, and the Presidency is not a job for wimps.

Invasion of the Illegals

Each day I read about the massive invasion of our Southern border by multitudes of illegal aliens, many of them unaccompanied children.  I notice that the good citizens of Murrieta, California, blocked the entry of federal buses bringing in illegals for housing or dispersion there.  I have a son who lives in Murrieta and runs a small business there.  It's a pretty little town, just north of San Diego.

It seems obvious to me that Obama is seeding the country with future Democrats, at a high cost to the taxpayers.  Illegals are now being dispersed throughout the United States, where they will soon become permanent residents, sucking up local social services and jobs, overwhelming local hospitals with demands for free medical care, and adding significantly to the crime rate.

Never before has the left been more aggressive or obvious in their intent to remake America into a socialist tyranny and a Third World nation.  Obama promises to rule by decree, via his misuse of the executive order, taunting Republicans to "sue me" if they don't like it.

In November, Republicans had better retake both houses of Congress, or the country is ruined.  When and if they do, they had better damn well do everything in their power to repeal Obamacare -- not tweak it, not amend it, not "make it better," but REPEAL it.

Another thing the Republicans had damn well better do is sue Obama for his abuse of office, and preferably impeach him.  Remove this disaster from office, and as soon as possible.

This is the final test for me -- if these things are not done, I will no longer consider myself a Republican.  It will be time to form a third party, or support one of the existing ones.  Those who say YOU CAN'T WIN WITH A THIRD PARTY should ask themselves:  When have we last"won" anything with the Republicans?  Besides, even when we win, we lose!

Why Amnesty for Hispanics Will Not Create More Republicans

Some intelligent writers are getting into the amnesty discussion today.  They agree with other writers discussed here yesterday -- that amnesty for illegal aliens will kill the Republican Party even faster.  Supporting amnesty would be foolish indeed.  The Hispanic question, however, is more than amnesty, we must slow or stop legal Hispanic immigration as well -- for the simple reason that Hispanics overwhelmingly vote for Democrats.

The best essay on the subject comes from Heather McDonald at the Corner,  "Why Hispanics Don't Vote For Republicans."   She quotes statistics showing that Hispanics are not particularly concerned with the amnesty question; they vote for Democrats for other reasons, i.e. "free stuff."

Why the GOP Is Headed for the Boneyard

Pat Buchanan is a paleoconservative and I disagree with much of that philosophy.  However, in this essay from Vdare he discusses the political ramifications of amnesty for illegal aliens and the current influx of legal immigrants from the third world.  It is worth your attention.

Buchanan makes a very good point when he writes:
What does government do for them [the third-world immigrants]?

Subsidizes their housing and provides free education for their kids from Head Start through K-12, plus food stamps and school lunches, Pell Grants and student loans for college, Medicaid if they are sick, earned income tax credits if they work and 99 weeks of unemployment checks if they lose their job.

These are people who depend upon government.

Why would they vote for a party that is going to cut taxes they do not pay, but take away government benefits they do receive?
Why indeed.  Read it all here.
