Jonah Goldberg's Epiphany on the True Nature of Islam (Irredeemably Violent)

Earlier this week, a Pakistani governor was murdered by one of his own bodyguards for supporting a Christian woman who had been sentenced to death for "blasphemy."  Jonah Goldberg explains:
For years we've been hearing about how the peaceful religion of Islam has been hijacked by extremists.

What if it's the other way around? Worse, what if the peaceful hijackers are losing their bid to take over the religion?

That certainly seems to be the case in Pakistan.

Salman Taseer, a popular Pakistani governor, was assassinated this week because he was critical of Pakistan's blasphemy law.

Specifically, Taseer was supportive of a Christian woman, Asia Bibi, who has been sentenced to death for "insulting Muhammad."

Bibi had offered some fellow farm laborers some water. They refused to drink it because Christian hands apparently make water unclean. An argument followed. She defended her faith, which they took as synonymous with attacking theirs. Later, she says, a mob of her accusers raped her.

Naturally, a Pakistani judge sentenced her to hang for blasphemy.

...
I've explained in prior posts how non-Muslims living in Islamic countries are constantly under the threat of death by false accusations of "blashpheming" the blasphemy that is Islam.  Bibi is just one of the most recent victims.  Taseer was murdered because he put justice before Islam, to the applause of the Pakistani public at large.  Taseer was a moderate in a religion that is anything but.

I hate Islam.  It is 100% evil, irredeemably violent, intolerant, backwards, inhuman, ignorant and totally worthless.  It's good to see that Jonah Goldberg is finally speaking the truth about this odious ideology:  it is not a religion of peace and never was.  It is a religion of continuous warfare on all mankind.

Robert Stacy McCain Storms Washington!

R.S. McCain at the Capitol
Blogger Robert Stacy McCain is putting his many years as a professional journalist to use.  He is in Washington, D.C. reporting on the first day of the new Republican congressional representatives.  I do envy Robert in one way, he lives near Washington, D.C. and can be physically present at important events like this.  If you are going to blog about national politics, this is a supreme advantage.

At one time, McCain was a reporter for the Washington Times and made a lot of contacts in and around Washington, D.C.  Now he is establishing himself as a self-employed writer and journalist, yet still manages to support a wife and five offspring.

Read all about it here.  And hit his tip jar if you can.  I mean, jeesh, five kids!  He actually has six children but the eldest daughter got married about a year ago.

Man Fired for Using the N Word in a Staff Discussion About...the N Word

From the Theater of the Absurd comes another scary "Tales from the Politically Correct."  Tom Burlington, a Fox News anchor was present in a staff meeting to discuss the "N word," and how it had been symbolically buried by a local chapter of the NAACP in Philadelphia.

Burlington asked his colleagues whether it was now okay again to use the word "nigger."  Needless to say, a member of the Perpetually Offended and Sacrosanct Special Victims Tribe was astonished:  "I can't believe you just said that!" she exclaimed.  Upon the utterance of this word, although used in context within a discussion of that same word, black people within hearing distance instantly turned into pillars of salt.  Well, some of them.  The others just crapped their pants.

This created quite a mess that someone had to clean up, leading to Burlington's firing.

He uttered a WORD.  He did not use it as an insult or use it to express hatred; he just used it.  That was enough.  This tribe of sacred Dalai Llamas who dwell among us must be offered great deference and respect, and it takes years of training for most of us to walk on eggshells without breaking them.  Obviously, Burlington hadn't yet mastered this skill.

Burlington claims the Philadelphia blacks who "buried" the word had used the same word "hundreds of times" in public, and wonders why its frequent and casual use among blacks is under different rules than for whites.

To appease the Dalai Llama Tribe of the Preferentially Protected and Perpetually Pissed-off (the PPPP), Burlington was fired.  No one can ever offend any black person anywhere, anytime for any reason, even inadvertently.  This speech code has now been tattooed on the brains of the current generation.  It is not just a sin, it is a crime, probably to become a capital offense sometime in the near future.

As for burying things, isn't it time that we buried the farce of this "politically correct" race-baiting tyranny?

A French Jew Explains: "Why I Love America (Among Other Things)" VIDEO

A Christian church in Texas made a rousing musical video to demonstrate the congregation's support of Israel.  They did it by singing a Jewish song (in Hebrew) and by waving Israeli flags.

Jean-Patrick Grumberg writes at the French blog DRZZ:
This video mixes country music, gospel and Klezmer (Jewish music).  The orchestra is composed of Evangelical Christians who recorded this onsite in a church in Texas.

In a world blindly hostile to Israel, this demonstration of friendship goes right to the heart.

Dede Scozzafava as Benedict Arnold (Photoshop)

The Other McCain has a post today about Dede Scozzafava, a Republican congressional candidate from New York who was beaten in the primary by a more conservative candidate.  Scozzafava then spitefully threw her support to the Democrat candidate and the seat was lost to the Democrats.

Now the new Democrat Governor of New York has rewarded Scozzafava for her party treason by appointing her to office in New York.

McCain says that Dede Scozzafava should be a pariah to Republicans from now on, and I do agree, though the liberal Dede was never a Republican in philosophy anyway.  She is, like so many RINOs, only out for herself.  She is not concerned with future generations, individual liberty, constitutional government or a vibrant economy.  She is in it for personal glory and remuneration.

In any case, McCain's post inspired a new Photoshop, and it is included herein.  I love doing Photoshop and practice only improves my skills.  So here's to you, McCain:  Dede Scozzafava as Benedict Arnold.  May this Photoshop travel far and wide through the internet to remind Dede and her friends that Dede has sold herself to the devil.

New York Times Highly Annoyed as GOP Takes Control of the House

Per Pirate's Cove, the new GOP politicians have barely taken their seats in Congress, but already the New York Times is foaming with sarcasm, derision and bombast.  Ahhh, it's great to see the New York Times editors all annoyed, angered and chagrined.  Enjoy it, libbies.  I hope your stomach acid eats big ugly holes in your stomach lining.

Stogie the Bass Player, One Year Later (Video) Playing "Moondance"

I've been playing and practicing with this band for a year now and have learned a lot about playing bass.  Below we are playing Van Morrison's great song, "Moondance."  We were playing for a Christmas party and there is a lot of background chatter and noise; our singer is new and inexperienced; and we are not all that fantastic nor are we ready for prime time.  Nevertheless, I am pleased with my progress after a year and look forward to learning a lot more.

I am on the left in the video, in back, playing a red bass guitar.  If you listen with headphones you can hear my bass quite well.  Without the headphones you can't hear me at all, not on small computer speakers.

Kathy Griffin Vows to Attack Teenager Willow Palin in 2011

Kathy Griffin Hates the Palins
Kathy Griffin, odious leftwing "Comedienne" plans to attack 16 year old Willow Palin in her 2011 "comedy" routines.  Fox News reports:
Kathy Griffin announced her New Year’s resolution to continue a verbal assault on the Palin family. Only in 2011, the comedian said she intends to target Sarah Palin’s 16-year-old daughter, Willow.

"I've already gone for Sarah, Todd and Bristol obviously," Griffin told The Hollywood Reporter. "But I think it's Willow's year to go down. In 2011, I want to offend a new Palin.”
Griffin's hatefulness was not appreciated by U.S. troops in December, when she insulted Bristol Palin at a performance:
On a special that aired Dec. 5, Kathy Griffin was jeered by the audience after attacking Bristol Palin for being “fat” while hosting the VH1 Divas “Salute to the Troops.” Griffin called the 20-year-old “the white Precious,” based on Gabourey Sidibe’s role as an obese and abused teen mother in the 2009 Lee Daniels drama.

The incident provoked widespread criticism.
Here's an example of that criticism:
Hollywood publicist Angie Meyer says Griffin’s targeting of Willow, a minor, is even worse.

“To attack a young girl solely because of her last name seems rather contradictory of the types of justice she champions for others,” Meyer said. “A 50-year-old woman who chooses to attack a 16-year-old girl publicly at a time when cyber-bullying and teenage suicide are at their highest reported rates, not only sets an irreconcilable example for others, it’s tasteless, immoral, and frankly – classless."
Of course the aging Kathy Griffin is clueless and classless:  she's a liberal.  We can only wonder when she's going to get around to Trig.
