Darcus Allen, 38, helped Maurice Clemmons in his murder of four Lakewood Police officers last Sunday.
Allen drove Clemmons to the scene and waited for him while Clemmons murdered the officers. When Clemmons returned, bleeding with a bullet in his torso, Allen drove him away from the scene. Allen and others later assisted Clemmons to elude capture for two days.
Now Darcus Allen is in jail and may be charged with being an accomplice to murder. If he is, he will be subject to the same penalty as the man who pulled the trigger: life imprisonment or execution.
Allen is being held without bail. He has pleaded innocent to the charges against him.
