Sarah Palin's popularity closing the gap on Obama

There are a number of stories in the media that indicate Sarah Palin's popularity is increasing among American voters.

A recent poll indicates that Sarah Palin's approval rate is now 46%, compared to Barack Obama's at 47%.

Right after Palin resigned the governorship of Alaska, her approval rating dipped to 39%.  Since then it has been slowly improving, and now only 1% separates her from the President's approval rating.
