Poll: Obama Does Not Deserve Re-Election; Would Lose to Any Republican

Per KSDK.com:

KSDK -- A new poll by Quinnipiac University shows that more voters would choose an unnamed Republican on the 2012 ballot over President Barack Obama.

The poll showed a 48-43 percent approval rate for Obama. The poll was taken May 26 nationwide.

A good portion of voters also said Obama does not deserve re-election in 2012. The poll revealed a great deal of anti-incumbent sentiment across the country.

The fact that he could still get 43 percent of the vote is pretty scary. . .

El Jefe, I agree.  There are many Americans who do not have a clue as to what is going on in the world.  They're the ones that can't answer simple questions about U.S. history or current events, the ones Sean Hannity interviews on the street for laughs.

I have always felt it's a 35/35 split in this country... with the 30% in the middle ultimately being the deciding factor.  The Party goal is getting a majority of the 30% to vote for them, as well as getting their 35% to the polls.

Obama was very successful in organizing his campaign and getting people to the polls.  I know someone that was working on his campaign in Carson City, NV.  They canvassed the neighborhoods everyday... going back to homes as much as 8 times. This was done over a 3-month period.   The McCain camp was never seen until the final week before the election.

That being said, I think it's much easier to campaign as the vote of "change".  He will not have that luxury in 2 years.

Yup. It seems a lot of people will vote the "party" line even if Satan is running against God.
