New American Media apologizes for the killer, Lovelle Mixon. They write:
Oh, poor little murderer. He just wanted a second chance, so he shot four cops. Well, why didn't you say so? That's a horse of a different color altogether! I didn't realize how sensitive Mixon was. He was just frustrated! And I just thought he was an animalistic scumbag. He probably just needed a hug.
The killing of four police officers in Oakland shows the desperation of an
ex-felon. Lovelle Mixon was trying to avoid going back to jail and at the same
time unable to find any employment that would give him a second chance.
No, the killings don't show the "frustration" of an ex-felon, they show what a complete waste of a human being he was. His plan worked, however. He's dead and so won't be going back to prison.
Rush describes Mixon like this: "He was a parolee. He had spent lots of times behind bars, a genuine bad actor, genuine bad actor. He gunned down four cops and they threw a party in Oakland, California, to honor the perp."
Some of the individuals honoring Mixon called him a "hero." Hero my ass. They should dig the bastard up and shoot him again.
