There is a lot of anger building in financial markets at the incompetent greenhorn sitting in the President's chair. Barack Obama is a one-man wrecking crew where the economy is concerned, a sophomoric leftwing ideologue who hasn't a clue. Already Obama's poll ratings are dropping as fast as the Dow Jones Average as Americans awaken to their dumbest mistake in decades.What to do, Democrats? Distract the public by demonizing Rush Limbaugh. The Dems are excellent at character assassination and for them, it's easy. They have party operatives posing as editors and writers and pundits throughout the mainstream (read: Democrat) media. These operatives will carry the message that the Party wants to convey.
I remember right after the Republican sweep of Congress in 1994, the Dems needed a scapegoat, someone to demonize. They chose Newt Gingrich for the role. Time Magazine depicted Gingrich as the Grinch; others portrayed him in various dark roles of evil and villainy. It worked; many Republican candidates began distancing themselves from Gingrich and Gingrich eventually stepped down and left Congress.
Such demonization would not be possible without a willing and complicit mainstream press, but the Democrats have that, and have had it for years.
Democrats fight really dirty. However, the incompetent boob they have placed in the White House will not be able to fool the public for long. Where the economy and security of the nation is concerned, Barack Obama is a walking disaster. They can demonize Rush all they want but will not be able to hide that fact for long.
Besides, Rush knows how to fight back. Don't worry too much about him.
