This has created a civil rights controversy in Orange, with the news media getting into the act and the school trying to explain it away.
So many school teachers seem to be Marxists these days. This is merely another great advertisement for home schooling.

One columnist is reporting that the teacher reacted the way she did because of a previous incident when the Jehovah's Witness Child punched Frankie Girard after Frankie inquired why he refused to recite the Pledge of Allegiance.
The day after the 9/11 tragedy, an apartment renter in Texas displayed an American Flag in the window of her apartment. While she was at work, her Jehovah's Witness Landlord entered the apartment and removed the Flag.

Thanks for this info. I am well aware of Jehovah's Witnesses and their odd and destructive beliefs, but did not know they were involved with this story.
