Off to teach a piano lesson in a few minutes. My one student -- an adult of age 65 -- just got a grand piano and is practicing like a crazy thing. Nothing wrong with that! Teaching this man is a pleasure -- even if he is a liberal.
Learning to play an instrument is one of the things that are advised for seniors, to keep their minds sharp. Another recommended activity is learning a new language. Good for your student -- practicing can be very rewarding.
