Amy Winehouse, pop-artist singer from the U.K., died yesterday of an apparent drug overdose.

The U.K. Mail Online reports:

A source told The People that she was seen buying substances, believed to be cocaine, heroin, ecstasy and ketamine leading up to the hours before her death.

She is also thought to have been drinking heavily, which may have been the trigger of a lethal concoction of drugs and alcohol.

It was only a couple of weeks ago, in Serbia, that Winehouse appeared onstage stoned and barely able to stand.  She was booed off the stage, resulting in the cancellation of her tour.

Winehouse may have been dead for up to six hours when her body was found in bed yesterday.
