You're Wrong If You Believe These Ten Things -- And Possibly Nuts

I saw a site this week where the blogger bragged about being proud of the fact that he was a "conspiracy theorist."  People who don't believe in his conspiracy theories (like 911 being an inside job) are people who strongly believe what the mainstream media tell them.

He should change the title of his blog to "Proud to be Paranoid."

It's amazing to me how much sheer nonsense is believed by so many people.  So here's a list of things that, if you believe in them, you're wrong at best, and maybe even nuts.

You're wrong or possibly nuts if you believe:

1. That 911 was an inside job.

2. That a great conspiracy assassinated John Fitzgerald Kennedy.

3. That the primary purpose of the American "Civil War" was to free the slaves.

4. That Amanda Knox had anything whatsoever to do with the murder of Meredith Kercher.

5.  That socialism improves the standard of living for most people in a population.

6.  That the wars in the Middle East are over oil.

7.  That Islam is a "religion of peace," no worse or any more violent than any other religion.

8.  That white people are responsible for all the bad stuff in world history.

9.  That criticism of Barack Obama is racism.

10.  That man made global warming is real.

Terry Bishop and The Giant Unfolding Conspiracy

Every Bad Thing That Ever
Happened Is The Result
of a Giant Unfolding Conspiracy
Terry Bishop, conspiracy theorist, has attacked me in the comments section of my post "The False Flag Kooks Are Out In Force Re The Boston Bombing."  Terry blogs at the Site "Hard Nox and Friends."

Terry apparently believes that world history and every daily mishap, lunatic murder and tragedy is the result of a Giant Unfolding Conspiracy (GUC).  Oklahoma City, Aurora, Sandy Hook, now Boston -- all part of the GUC that is threatening to turn us all into Eloi, food for Morlocks.  If you don't believe me, read this:  read his rant here.  Note that Terry doesn't refute a single point in my blog post (he can't).  The dead, the maimed and wounded at the Boston Marathon are real people, not actors.  They were injured by a real bomb, not harmless "flash powder."  Only the truly delusional could believe such "false flag" nonsense.

What the conspiracy peddlers prove, is only this:  there are crazy kooks on the right as well as the left.  The "truthers," no matter which conspiracy they are pushing, are a great example of a theory in search of facts -- they are in ruthless pursuit, not of truth, but of an agenda.  Since most people aren't nuts, the "truthers" do conservatism far more harm than good.

Worse, they dishonor the dead and injured, the victims of such tragedies, by providing cover for the evil that harmed them.  Shame on you, Terry Bishop, and any other blogger who supports you in this dishonorable pursuit.

Photograph of Big Foot: REAL OR FAKED? You Decide!

I was inspired to go looking for Big Foot after watching the 998th episode of "Hunting for Big Foot" on television tonight.  998 episodes, and they ain't found him yet.  Just a lot of weeds and mountainous terrain and guys in plaid shirts saying "There Be Squatch in These Woods!"

Now Big Foot is also known as Sasquatch, or if you are on really close terms with him, you can call him "Squatch" like they do on the TV show.  Yep, if you don't know Big Foot, you don't know Squatch.  Heh heh, a little humor there.

Since the makers of the program still haven't found the hairy monster, I decided to take my digital camera into the woods and capture an image of ol' Sasquatch himself.

Well it didn't take long.  I just called out "heeeere Biggy Foot Foot Foot" and before you knew it, there he was.    He was nice enough to pose for a picture for me.  Now this is the most realistic image of Big Foot seen to date.  The image is copyrighted, but you can republish it for only $10,000 for each showing.  Contact my agent.

P.S.  We accountants get a bit silly after the tax season ends.
