The Worthless Worm in the White House

I see that Obama has been shutting down all national parks and monuments, even those privately funded and those that do not require park service guards and personnel.  There is no need for this, he just wants to make the shut down as painful as possible for as many people as he can.

It is obvious the little snake in the White House is trying to stoke public resentment of the government shut down, the shut down that he orchestrated.  Of course, the media is playing along, blaming the shut down on the Republicans.

Barack Obama is the most divisive and destructive president in my lifetime, and I have nothing but disgust for him and Harry Reid.  Reid reminds me of a doctrinaire communist in his little brown suits and his always present expression of contempt.

Harry Reid: Slimy, Unethical, Pathetic Little Man

I have often noted Harry Reid's utter sliminess as a human being.  He's a ruthless liar, a bitter little man.  He told lies about Rush Limbaugh some time back.  Rush had denounced "phony soldiers," referring to the several leftists who never served in the armed forces, but pretended they did for political reasons.  In other words, they lied -- must be a thing with Democrats.  Reid tried to create a false public impression that Rush had denounced real soldiers, and disingenuously wrote a letter to Rush's employer demanding that Rush be forced to issue a public apology for demeaning the armed services!

It was typical Democrat demagoguery, a dishonest and ruthless misrepresentation of the facts.  Reid hoped to create another Democrat fake scandal, knowing full well the true facts all the time.  The little man's scheme blew up on him and he fooled no one.

Now Harry Reid's telling lies about Mitt Romney.  "Someone" told him that Romney "hasn't paid taxes for ten years."  The only person who could know Romney's tax situation would be his accountant, and an accountant is sworn to secrecy about such matters.

Harry Reid is a senator from Nevada because of the powerful unions there who support such trash.

I don't have to create any new Photoshops of this small-minded creep.  Here are some I have created in the past . Use them if you like.

Sorry for the crude lingo in the second image, but it so perfectly sums up Harry Reid's worth to humanity.

Senate Shelves Sappy Spite Budget

The lame ducks in the Senate have abandoned their pork-laden spite budget as Republican support is withdrawn.  Bloomberg has the story:

A $1.2 trillion “omnibus” spending bill loaded with thousands of lawmakers’ pet projects known as earmarks is dead in the U.S. Senate after the chamber’s top Democrat conceded that he didn’t have the votes to overcome Republican opposition.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada said yesterday that he was abandoning the measure after several Republicans he had been counting on withdrew their support of the plan to fund the government through Sept. 30, 2011. He said he would work with Republicans to write a shorter-term funding bill, known as a continuing resolution, in its place.
Can the Senators go home now, Harry?  It's Christmas, you old Grinch!

Left Gearing Up for Slime Fest on Sharron Angle

Legal Insurrection reports that the Dems are planning a slime fest for Sharron Angle.

Angle is the "Tea Party" candidate who won the right to oppose Harry Reid for Senator from Nevada.

Harry Reid is a bitter, obnoxious far-leftist who wants to help Obama "transform" America into a socialist (or worse) state, overseen by a massive federal bureaucracy with tentacles into every aspect of our lives.  As William Jacobson points out:
The Democrats have a strategy of crazy because their policies have been so disastrous and their rule so inept. So they will tear down people like Angle, turn them into caricatures, and do anything else necessary to avoid talking about unpopular policies which have put us on a course towards economic and political suicide.
Leftist talking heads are now describing Angle as a "Salty Nut" and a "Whack Job," in preparation for a full frontal slime fest.  We must be ready for it with our own fund raising efforts for Angle.  Reid will have a huge war chest, as Powerline points out, derived involuntarily from union members through their dues, where Angle will have no such resource.

To support Sharron Angle, go here.

Harry Reid's "Negro" Remark: Much Ado About Nothing

Senator Harry Reid is a flaming asshat.  The people of Nevada should send him packing later this year when he is up for reelection.  Reid is a bitterly partisan leftwinger who wants to ram socialized health care down the throats of every American, regardless of whether they want it or not.  Harry Reid is a man whom I dislike.

Having said that, I can't get too worked up over Reid's description of Obama some months back.  Reid described Obama as "light-skinned, with no Negro dialect unless he wants to have one."  GOP Chairman Michael Steele has called for Reid to resign over this "racial remark."

So why is this comment so objectionable?  Is it "RAAAAACIST"?  No.  The term "Negro" may be out of style but it was never used as a hate word.  When I was in college, back when cowboys were riding horses instead of playing football, the term Negro was perfectly acceptable.  President Kennedy used the word in some excellent speeches advocating full equality for black people.  Then the black radicals begin to speak up.  I don't remember who it was (Eldridge Cleaver?  Bobby Seale?) who said they were offended by the word "Negro."  They pointed out that whites were not called "Blanco" so why should black people be called "Negro"?  Okay, they had a point, though a very minor one.  I mean really, who cares?

Some years later another black activist (Jesse Jackson, I believe) decided that black people should be referred to as "African-Americans." Anyone not immediately embracing the new protocol was to be forever banished to the wastelands of the gauche, the socially inept, the out-of-touch.  It looked like the Bobby Seale rule no longer applied:  if you don't call white people "European-Americans" why should you call black people "African-Americans"?  Ah, but consistency is not what this is all about.  What this is all about is manufacturing new word triggers that can be used to demolish reputations with hardly any effort.

Harry Reid is a flaming jerk, but not because he called Obama a Negro.  The Negro comment only proves Reid is a wingtip daddy in a Nike world.  Out of touch, certainly, but not a racist.  Now, if Harry Reid shows up in blackface on black history day and starts singing Al Jolson tunes, we can reevaluate this. But for now, when it comes to eroding individual freedoms, Reid has a solid, equal-opportunity reputation.

Harry Reid in Trouble in Nevada

Harry Reid's senate seat is in play in Nevada.

In a hypothetical matchup for Harry Reid's Senate seat, Reid loses 51% - 41% with 8% undediced, a recent poll shows. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal:
Nevadans aren't warming up to Sen. Harry Reid, despite plenty of early advertising designed to boost his image, a new poll shows.
Just 38 percent of respondents said they had a favorable opinion of the Democratic Senate majority leader, the same percentage as in October and 1 point higher than in August.
The survey of 625 registered Nevada voters by Mason-Dixon Polling & Research suggests the promotional bombardment that Reid launched more than six weeks ago has yet to hit its target.
"I'd be worried," said Michael Franz, an assistant professor at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, who studies political advertising. "I'd stop if I had aired ads for two or three weeks and it wasn't moving the needle."
According to the poll commissioned by the Review-Journal, 49 percent of respondents had an unfavorable opinion of Reid, while 13 percent were neutral.
The opportunity to rid the Senate of this awful little man is too delicious to contemplate.

Vitriolic Harry Reid Scowls "I Hope You Go Out of Business!"

The Review-Journal, the largest newspaper in Nevada, reports Harry Reid's latest shot to the foot. Reid, chief sourpuss of the Senate and radical leftist, doesn't like having anyone criticize him in public or disagree with his big-government policies. So at a Commerce luncheon in Las Vegas last week, as Reid was shaking hands with guests, he popped off at the representative from the Review-Journal. It seems the Review-Journal often disagrees with Reid's policies and Reid resents it.

Sherman Frederick, publisher, writes:
On Wednesday, before he addressed a Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce luncheon, Reid joined the chamber's board members for a meet-'n'-greet and a photo. One of the last in line was the Review-Journal's director of advertising, Bob Brown, a hard-working Nevadan who toils every day on behalf of advertisers. He has nothing to do with news coverage or the opinion pages of the Review-Journal.
Yet, as Bob shook hands with our senior U.S. senator in what should have been nothing but a gracious business setting, Reid said: "I hope you go out of business."

If polls hold up, however, it will be Harry Reid who "goes out of business." The nasty little man is currently far behind in the polls and, hopefully, will be booted out of office in the next election cycle. Read the entire Review-Journal article linked below.

Another Caricature of Senator Harry Reid

Here's another caricature of Senator Harry Reid. These caricatures are really easy in Photoshop; use the Liquify tool under filters and have fun.

Senator Reid never appears to be having fun. He looks like someone with a serious case of hemmorhoids, which in turn has given him heartburn, which has aggravated his bunions.

Caricatures of Democrats & Other Scalawags

My talented friend Carol over at No Sheeples Here has been outdoing herself lately with some incredible graphics, especially her caricatures, which rival any that I have seen on the web.

She loves a challenge. If you put her in a room with Albert Einstein, she would figure out a formula in a day or so, proving that the theory of relativity is all wrong and would present a better one.

In any case, she has inspired me to try some of my own. Here's my caricature of Harry Reid, the biggest sourpuss in the Senate. This is how I see him.

The Harry Reid Smear Letter and Aftermath

I have often emphasized on this blog just how Machiavellian, dishonest and dirty are the Democrats in their pursuit of power. None personifies this dishonesty better than Senator Harry Reid, Democrat from Nevada. Reid was a leader in the transparent attempt to smear Rush Limbaugh by falsely claiming that Limbaugh called American soldiers "phony soldiers."

The truth, well documented in the archives and transcripts of the Rush Limbaugh show, clearly show Rush was referring to leftwing posers like Jesse MacBeth. These are the phonies who dress up like soldiers and fake their military service and pretend to be either veterans or active duty soldiers who "oppose the war" - however, they never were soldiers, never served and never were in Iraq. They are part of the expansive fraud known as the Democratic Party.

Harry Reid was particularly evil in his efforts. He stood on the floor of the Senate and denounced Limbaugh for impugning actual soldiers fighting in Iraq "for his freedom of speech, blah, blah, blah." Reid's entire speech was based on a false premise and a huge lie about the real facts. It would be very difficult to believe that Reid did not know the truth while he was smearing a private citizen.

Harry Reid then wrote a letter to Rush Limbaugh's employer attempting to get Rush fired or forced to publicly apologize for a wrong he never committed. Forty-one of his fellow Democrats signed the letter. Rush put the smear letter up for auction on eBay and it sold for $2.1 million. Rush donated the proceeds to a Marine Corps charity and matched the bid, bringing the full contribution to $4.2 million. Meanwhile, the Democrats' fraud was made known to millions of Americans who listen to the Rush radio show or read conservative blogs.

Proving that he is an unadulterated slimeball, Harry Reid and the mainstream media attempted to spin the auction by insinuating that it was a joint effort between Rush and Harry Reid, or that it was Rush's way of "apologizing" for his "insult" to American troops.

The mainstream media, dependable shills for the Democrats and the Left, continue to misreport the facts, stating that Rush "called soldiers who oppose the war 'phony soldiers.' " The media joined Harry Reid's efforts to steal the credit for the charitable contribution.

Unless the Dems lie like hell, they have no chance to win the public debate. For those of you who vote for these evil people, reconsider. These people do not deserve your support or your vote.

Captain John Paul Harry Reid Jones

This is a recent cartoon by the great Sam Ryskind. It says it all about Harry Reid.
