Done, Aunty, but you may be surprised by my take on the Pledge of Allegiance.

I know the stars and stripes gets burned quite a bit at Muzzie hatefests as the totem of The Great Satan, but in itself it is relatively innoffensive.

Israel has a far more offensive flag showing the loathsome Star of David, and Scandinavian countries have the hateful cross.

However the British have the two most offensive flags in the world. The Union Jack has no fewer than three crosses in one flag. (Ok one cross looks like its fallen over - but that's the Scottish one which some guy designed after consuming a bottle of Glenmorangie)

The English flag is only a single red cross on a white background, but it's intensely offensive because it's the Cross of Saint George - the crusaders' emblem.

However, the next time the Stars and Stripes is redesigned (when the Christian remnants of Canada become the 51st state) it may be worthwhile considering making the stars six pointed, and running three of the stripes vertically so they intersect the other four to give 12 crosses of Saint George.

The mere sight of this should induce heart attacks in you know who.

Sounds great, ROP. I'd love to see that flag.

Yes, the X style cross in the flag of Scotland is the St. Andrews Cross, the same design used in the flags of Florida, Alabama and the Confederate Battle Flag.
