Fooling Around With Photoshop

I have a fast new computer and a new Wacom graphics tablet and a recent issue of Photoshop. So naturally I had to try and draw something in Photoshop. The pic at the right is my attempt. It isn't so good, frankly.

But the effort wasn't wasted. I learned a few new tricks, like how to do cheeks, and expanded my knowledge of Photoshop brushes. Just like playing the bass, experimentation allows you to learn new things and new techniques. You learn what works and what doesn't.
......
If you want to see the work of someone who actually knows what they're doing, take a look at Linda Eddy's artwork. She does it all with Photoshop and posts it to a site called Iowa Presidential Watch.
.....
The cool thing about Photoshop is that it is more of a paint program than a drawing program. The above picture was digitally painted, not drawn.

Just in case you are wondering, it was supposed to be Hillary but came out looking like Donald Trump wearing lipstick. Oh well.
