A Monument To The Democratic Party

I found this nice picture of the aftermath of the Democrats' cut and run policy in South East Asia. They are looking to make a sequel in the Middle East. If they ever dedicate a monument to the Democrat Party, this should be it.

The good news is that polls show the Democrat Congress has an approval rating even lower than that of President Bush.

Meanwhile, the thugs in Tehran are confident they can kidnap British sailors in Iraqi waters and get away with it. I would consider this an act of war, if I were Tony Blair, and formulate plans for retribution. One such plan is the seizing of an island off Iran where gasoline is off loaded from foreign ships, thus effectively cutting off Iran's fuel source.

Iran has lots of crude oil, but little gas. Take out their one refinery and seize their island, and soon everyone in Iran is walking. If that doesn't produce the captured Brits, then a full blockade of all goods going into and out of Iran would be the next step, with bombing of their nuclear facilities the third.
