"Eco-Tyranny" by Brian Sussman: Major Goals of the Left in Exploiting Environmental Issues

Brian Sussman
Brian Sussman, a very good guy in the San Francisco Bay Area, has written a new book on climate change and the global warming hoax.  His first book was "Climategate," a useful tome for putting the whole controversy into perspective and rebutting the alarmist claims and arguments.

"Eco-Tyranny:  How the Left's Green Agenda Will Dismantle America" goes further and delves into the left's use of environmentalism to construct massive wealth-redistribution schemes, to weaken or even destroy property rights, undermine the sovereignty of the United States, and justify massive power grabs by the federal government.

Sussman's book is helping me to better understand the long-held goals and strategies of the radical left, and I will soon write an article that lists them and explains them.  In a nutshell, however, those goals are (1) a one-world government where all countries are taxed and regulated by an international order, and (2) massive wealth redistribution from the industrialized nations to the underdeveloped ones, and massive wealth redistribution within nations from rich to poor.

In other words, the perennial goal of the left is international socialism.  Environmental issues are just the excuse, the rationalization, the Shtick, the latest scheme by which socialism is to be accomplished.

These goals, if realized, will mean that Americans will experience a major reduction in their standard of living, and will be forced to live the lifestyle beloved by the left:  smaller families, smaller homes, fewer modern conveniences, less personal choice, fewer opportunities.

Brian has a climate website here.

Global Warming Hyperbole: Brian Sussman to the Rescue

I have ordered Brian Sussman's book, "Climategate."  Sussman is a former meteorologist and TV weatherman, now a conservative talk show host for KSFO out of San Francisco.  Sussman is passionate about anthropogenic (man made) global warming.  Passionate in that he believes it is a fraud.

When I read the book I will post my comments about it here.

Watts Up With That posted some of Sussman's commentary on how global temperatures are taken and averaged, and why those temperatures have trended upwards for the past 100 years or so (by a whopping half a degree Fahrenheit!  OMIGOD!), and it isn't due to man made carbon dioxide emissions.  Read about it here.

University of California Discriminates Against Grads of Christian Schools

Brian Sussman of KSFO Radio (see link in my radio links in left sidebar) had another interesting revelation today. It seems the University of California has denied course credit to some graduates of Christian High Schools (specifically, those of Cavalry Chapel) because their textbooks were "tainted" with Christian references. The Christians have an attorney who has sued the University of California but the case is far from resolved.

The courses in question were entirely substantive, their content academically worthy in every way, except for the fact that they sometimes quoted the Bible. The attorney said, for example, that a book on biology had a scripture quote at the beginning of each chapter, and that was the extent of the religious reference. But the U of C denied credit for the course.

It's hard to deny that the U of C is merely conducting its own version of the culture war by punishing those students who were not totally marinated in leftist ideology as preparation for college. Alas, such outrages are so commonplace nowadays that they no longer shock anyone.

Offshore Oil Rigs Good for the Environment

This morning on KSFO Radio, Brian Sussman interviewed Humberto Fontova, a Cuban emigre who now lives in New Orleans, Louisiana. Fontova is a fishing and skin diving enthusiast. According to Fontova, the oil platforms off Louisiana don't harm the environment, they actually have improved it.

The oil platforms serve as artificial reefs for marine life, and as a consequence fishing there has greatly improved as the fish have proliferated and their numbers grown.

Fontova says he regularly hitches his boat to oil platforms so he can fish near the rigs.

A Marine Biologist from California called into Sean Hannity's show today and said the same thing about the oil platforms off of Santa Barbara. The rock fish there have also greatly proliferated due to the presence of the platforms, and the rigs also help prevent natural oil seepage onto beaches by relieving pressure from the oil dome beneath the seabed.

Want to help the environment? Support offshore oil drilling!

Is Obama the Anti-Christ?

Brian Sussman of KSFO radio has the moonbats in a snit tonight. He said that Obama's recent trip to Germany reminds Sussman of the AntiChrist. Sussman mentioned Obama's talks implying a one-world government, one-world religion, etc, as reminiscent of the AntiChrist prophecied in the Bible.

Do I think Obama is the AntiChrist? No, I think that honor belongs to Muhammad, the most perfectly evil representation in the history of religion. Clearly, Obama is not the AntiChrist, he is the AntiBrain. Not only does he not have a brain, he has an AntiBrain, a kind of intellectual black hole between his ears into which all common sense, logic and humility are sucked and transmogrified into hot air, which is then expelled through his mouth as political speech.

I tried to look up AntiChrist on the net, and found the topic as arcane and involved as advanced calculus. Since I'm not that interested, I decided not to pursue it.

But what about this guy Barack Obama? Is his election in November a done deal? I don't think so. The more I watch and listen to this poser, the less I am afraid that he will actually be elected. He has absolutely nothing to offer except the fact that he's young and cute. If those are the primary traits we need in a President, let's elect Miley Cyrus. At least she doesn't hang around Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn.

When I studied rhetoric in college, I learned about a political speech called "the glittering generality." The GG is a high-sounding speech that says absolutely nothing. It is purposely ambiguous so the listener can read into it anything he wants. Obama gave a number of glittering generality speeches in Europe. He said totally vacuous things like, "the walls between Muslims, Jews and Christians cannot stand....we must tear down these walls."

My goodness, it's so simple! Why didn't anyone in prior millenia ever think of this before? I am sure Ahmadinejad in Iran probably shed a tear or two and put on a yarmaluke and a skull cap to show his solidarity with the principle. Jews and Palestnians embraced in Gaza, joined arms and began to sing "Michael Row the Boat Ashore." (Bet you thought I was going to say "Kumbaya.")

If there is ever strife and discord in the world, all we have to do is tear down the walls between the combatants. Then they will be able to more easily get their hands around each other's throats. If you are someone with acute allergies and can't stand cigar smoke, well then, let's tear down those walls between allergic people and cigar smokers! Hey baby, when you finish blowing your nose and coughing, do you think you could lend me a match?

Barack Obama...proving that even people without a brain can run for President. I think I'm misting up so I will just sign off.

Barack Obama's "Fainting Fans" at Rallies Questioned

Last night, coming home from work, I heard Brian Sussman of KGO Radio (560 AM, San Francisco) relate a strange story. At six of Obama's recent political rallies, a woman in the front row faints and falls on the floor (or the ground). Barack halts his speech, asks the fainting person if they are all right, calls for help for the afflicted person, offers her a drink of water and stands by worriedly until medical help arrives. Obama announces, "she's okay" and the audience erupts in applause. Now these incidents have been collected in video and put on the internet. Watch them here.

Sussman felt that the fainting episodes were staged to make Obama look compassionate, concerned and heroic. He said the news media people at the event "roll their eyes" whenever it happens now and don't report it in their stories.

Sussman is onto something. It is funny how only women in the front row faint. If it is a rock-star phenomenon, where young ladies swoon in the presence of their hero, why is it always just one woman?

Take a look at the picture above, presumably taken at one of Obama's rallies. Does this look staged to you? I smell a rat.
