Bill O'Reilly Blows It; The Wisdom of Keeping It Zipped

Bill O'Reilly, the most successful and popular television pundit at Fox News, has been let go.  This is a major coup for the left, who love shutting down powerful voices of reason and right. However, Bill apparently helped them by his own really stupid behavior.

The New York Times, a major publication of the fascist left, found the dirt that did the downfall.  Fox, they learned, had paid out a few million dollars to several women employees of Fox.  The payments were necessitated by O'Reilly's alleged sexual harassment of the women.  Powerful men in prominent places sometimes lose control of their penises, and flaunt their position by pressuring women employees to have sex with them.  Ask Bill Clinton.

This "sexual harassment" phenomenon has been well known for several decades now, as have the consequences thereof.  Any man in the public eye who sexually harasses a fellow employee is a damn fool.  Yes, that small appendage between male legs is known to cancel reason and rationality.  No matter how intelligent a man might be otherwise, satisfying junior can impel him to take terrible risks with his reputation and do really dumb things.

Thanks a lot, Bill.  On behalf of leftists everywhere.

Bill O'Reilly Calls for Injunction Against Pastor Terry Jones

I saw this exchange on television yesterday and can vouch for its accuracy. I found the text of it on the web.  O'Reilly is a jerk and certainly no friend of liberty, and this exchange proves it.

Bill O'Reilly, host of the O'Reilly Factor on the Fox News Channel, on September 9, 2010, called for the courts to act to shut down the suspended (as of this writing) Koran burning protest by the Gainesville, Florida based Dove World Outreach Center.

O'Reilly made his remarks in a segment with lawyers Lis Wiehl and Kimberly Guilfoyle.

O'Reilly said, "I believe, Guilfoyle, a case can be made here, it was the Supreme Court rul(ing) you can't have a public display that intimidates if the intention of it is to harm. And certainly burning the holy book of more than three million Americans, Muslim Americans, is meant to harm them emotionally and intimidate."

Then to Wiehl, O'Reilly said, "I think on legal grounds Wiehl, correct me if I'm wrong, there is a good case to say, 'you cannot do this because the sole purpose of this is to intimidate people and inflict emotional damage.'"

Wiehl noted the Supreme Court has ruled burning the American flag is legal as a possible reason for no one going to court yet to stop the Koran burning.

O'Reilly replied, "That's true, but I think it should be adjudicated, and they can slap an injunction on the guy and say he can't do it."

Pathetic!  If O'Reilly has such a dismal understanding of the First Amendment, he ought to cash in his chips and call it a career.  Sometimes I'd just like to slap the guy.

Bill O'Reilly Discusses Jesse Griffin's "Palin Divorce" Smear

Bill O'Reilly feels that Sarah Palin should press forward with her lawsuit against Jesse Griffin. I hope she does too. Win or lose, it would be worth what could be learned in discovery and who knows, maybe the good guys will win one for a change.

It must be a nightmare for Jesse Griffin, who has lost his "secret identity." Not only does O'Reilly name him, his photo is displayed for millions to see. Furthermore, O'Reilly and friends are less than complimentary of Griffin's opinions and accomplishments.
